@@keishakwok4333 Agreed. China was the dominant empire of the world during the Tang Dynasty, and during Roman Times the second most dominant empire.

not only that this video also doesn't mention that the Qing dynasty was a "barbaric" dynasty of Manchu people from the north east and totally skipped Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong plus this video also fails to mention the Qing dynasty by name and also skipped the formation of the Republic of China 1912 and skips directly to PRC foundation in 1949.

You can't see the great wall from space. Yes it is very long but it only has a small width. This is not reflecting good on the level of research that went into this video. On another note I find it quite a bad choice that a video about the history of China would cut out several dynasties and just jump straight to the mongol invasion after discussing the Qin Dynasty. Btw. you just have to google "earth at night" to see lots of (cumulative) human constructions that can be seen from space. Edit: wow and you also just skip from the second opium war to Mao, completely ignoring important parts like the end of imperial rule, the 2. world war and the civil war, Taiwan, etc..

Well, the general consensus is that China (as we understand it) is 2,300 years old. An impressive feat certainly. Remains found earlier are evidence of a dynasty but not necessarily Chinese. The China that we know today has assimilated by means of invasion and coercive conquest: Tibet ( invasion and Genocide), inner Mongolia ( Coercive conquest, violence, and genocide), Easy Turkestan ( Coercive Conquest by political means - Genocide and apartheid),. This along with the assimilation of 52 other ethnic minorities today into an authoritarian Fascist state is what is more commonly known as the " PROC". On the whole not a bad introduction though.

Your knowledge of the 5,000 years Chinese history is completely wrong. The fact is, out of the 5,000 years, China had been invaded, conquered and ruled by foreign forces from the north and west of China. This version of history is chocked full of inaccuracies. For example the great wall can be seen from space; Absolutely not true.

Before the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Dynasty was in a so-called "colonial" state dominated by kings and aristocrats from northern nomadic peoples, not modern Chinese ‘Han Chinese’. Sadly, the Han Chinese, the modern Chinese people, have never had their own Country in their 5,000-year history. (Qin-Xiaoyong(西戎), Han-Dongi(東夷), Tang-Xiānbēi(鮮卑), Song-Baekwal(百越), Yuen-Mogolia, Qing-Manchuria etc.) They're poor peoples who are enslaved under the ruling class, which changes with time. But Fortunately, Mao Zedong, an outstanding figure, succeeded in creating the first national state of Han Chinese people in the wake of the Japanese invasion. In other words the first Han nation was modern China, which was founded in 1949.

How can your video skip over a thousand years of history? Where did the Tang and Song dynasties go? It’s like you’re still a slave in the Roman Empire and the next second you become a Lancastrian spearman. Do you only remember your Mongolian Daddy? You don’t even remember the Silk Road? Because the Silk Road inspired your greed and ultimately led to the invasion of the Qing Dynasty. By the way, Genghis Khan also considers himself Chinese.
