Im a huge horror movie fan. I think Shudder puts out some great stuff. That being said, this was not it. I almost never get done with a movie and think it was a waste of time or wish i didn't watch it. This one, unfortunately, was the exception 😂. It was just very boring, hard to follow along not because it didn't make sense or was too complicated, just because it was boring. I'd give it a 3 or 4 / 10, the imdb rating is spot on.

Well, finally watched it and it was shockingly bad. Started of as an excellent dystopian look at the near future but quickly became a horror movie that made no sense whatsoever. Plot holes galore and scenes that made no sense.

it's impossible to overstate just how terrible this film is. wow, just where to begin. It's trying to be an allegory; it's trying to be dystopian, it's trying to be relevant, it's trying to be a horror...it fails in all the ways. It looks like a film it sounds like one. But it is not. There was competence on set by the crew, there was competence in the editing room... There's a skeleton of a story. It's actually a cool concept, but the execution is so bad it's not even laughable. It's takes itself so seriously that it just comes off as cringeworthy at every turn. Disasters like this can only occur when the script and or direction is incompetenet. And unfortunately for all involved, in this case, the same incompetent person Directed and Wrote this. Most unforgiveable of all, it doesn't even have the decency to be a trash movie all on its own; no, the director decided to plagiarize the theme and motivations and nearly to-the-word dialogue from The Shining... a film who's opening shot has more creative integrity than this entire film can pack into 89 minutes. Had the director not been so shameless in his plagiarism, I'd actually be rooting for him to succeed his next time around. But no, zero respect for thieves. Avoid this garbage lest this hac is greenlit ever again.

I just finished watching this and it is fallacious and shameful propaganda, and an uninteresting finale letdown of a ghost film. It's bigoted toward all Christians, zero fair representation. Focuses more on saying something than entertaining, and the thing it does say puts up a strawman about what half of Americans are, and scaring the viewer into justifying an ignorant hatred toward people in real life as a false equivalency. Watch the film if you want, but keep an open mind the film is trying to mislead you, and the only people out to get you are those who have power who want you scared and divided against your own neighbor.

The girl was very ugly. Overall not the worst movie but the racist old guy should have been expanded upon greatly,. They didn’t even show what the militia saw in the bunker
