His ancestors are the Obazuaye family in Benin today. Just like the Eletu, Oshodi, Obanikoro, Ashipa etc these families are still in Edo today.

Awori and d benin are d full ownership of today lagos ..yoruba has nothing to do with lagos .yoruba were invited to lagos by d benin Kingdom..oba to open up trading with d Portuguese...

Actually the Idejo Have been before the Benin Came, they own the Lands Eko and Beyond. King was imposed yet their formation of Parliament was copied by the British which was created in UK. People love to cut the Histroy short because the truth will expose a lot. The Idejo survived before the Benin the Portuguese and British because they were brave and Educated in their tradition , human relation and foreign or Alien Relations. The history is cut short because all the Idejo’s Lands have been grabbed and telling the true history will expose Those that aren’t biological sons of OLOFIN and are made monarchies today whereas the Idejo ruled by Parliamentary Formation. History repeated itself but because of lack of knowledge, alot of people didn’t notice. The Endsars Movements protest at Lekki Toll gate in Lagos were asked who their leader was and they said they don’t have a Leader that they were all one in Leadership. That was the same the the Idejo told the Benin , The Portuguese and the British. Then an intermediary was formed to negotiate between The Idejo and whoever . The intermediaries then turned themselves to Kings and sadly some whom were trusted by the Idejo also betrayed the Idejo by accepting to be kings on Lands they were only supposed to watch over for the Idejo.

I have been asking people especially those who believe in this flawed narrative that benins founded lagos and no one has been sensible to answer.pls when the benin came to that tiny island at isale eko that they fancifully tagged the entire lagos.didnt they meet anyone on that island? Not even rats?
