Until around 500 BCE, Jewish people did not commonly refer to themselves as "Jews."
Instead,
In their beloved Hebrew Bible and Torah, they preferred to call themselves "the sons or daughters of Israel" with the fancy names "b'nei Yisroel" or "b'not Yisroel."
The narrative of the Jewish people begins with Abraham, a revered figure who holds a special place in three major religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam
Abraham, who lived around 2000 BCE in Mesopotamia, is widely credited with significantly establishing the foundations of monotheistic belief.
