Although “black” Hebrews did go down into Africa with their language and customs intact, we began to assimilate and thus lost our books, customs, and language. By the time we came to the America’s, we began this process all over by learning the customs, language and traditions of the European people. All these things were prophesied to happen and can be found in scripture.

When you first dealt with this topic in an earlier video, we completely discounted the Hebrew Israelite claims in Africa. Now you have acknowledged it but say the scale was small. I am an Akan from Ghana and together with the Ewe, Ga adamgbe brothers and Igbo tribe in Nigeria have a counter narrative to yours. You seem to think Israelites are anti African. Indeed, Israelites are Africans. A nation born in Ancient Egypt. So your narrative is playing Israel vs Africans. Once you get into that notion, you get into biases and not objectivity. It's not only the black diaspora claim of Israel, there are multiple claims from African tribes far before the African American voices were heard. And like all things African, these voices are ignored. Come research from within the African tribes claim to be Israelites to keep a balance and make your work credible.

Well actually I'm pretty sure you know your lineage is from Japheth not Shem. Therefore, Hebrew and Jew can not be the same. Jewish practices are not biblical or Hebrew practices. Furthermore, Hebrew history began before 2000 years ago. The Jewish religion started 2000 years ago. Being a Hebrew is way of life not a religion. It's who you are from inside, you feel it in your soul. Not by what science can prove. The world we live in today will not be at peace until the truth of the Hebrews become accepted and not just looked over or ignored. Also, the Hebrew language was used to begin all languages. Like the alphabet. When the Hebrews went against the Most High everything was taken or lost. They were ruled by other nations, eventually forgetting their own.

@Fanta Graham Yes, the Jews as all the tribes of Israel were Semites of Mesopotamia. Abraham makes the point that he is a Chaldean, and scripture calls him Syrian. These along with the myriad of other proofs show the truth as to the origin of the children of Abraham. That is according to the physical, which has little to do with the covenant which is spiritual and works based as Jesus taught. I could list several citations, studies, and archeological scholarships if you like? Bottom line is, that one should trust the testimony of those who lived in ancient times, not some self appointed scholar who thinks he knows more than God about the truth.

My guess is she wrote it( or one of another tribute brides). How does she describe him?... High cheekbones that are pink like pomegranate, red lips thin like a ribbon, white legs, and neck, and she compares him to a flower that blooms pink and white. The big mistake you’re making is the same one most people that look to disprove the “theory” make...you haven’t read the Bible. The Bible clearly says that only kingdom of judah Maintained any cultural ties to Israel. That’s 1 (maybe 2 if including Benjamin) out of 12 tribes. The punishment for the Hebrews thousands of years ago was a split from the most high and the kingdom of Israel. The Bible even says clear as day these lost tribes would take on the languages and customs of other nations, no longer recognize one another and worship unknown gods. That’s literally what the Bible is about, the return of the lost sheep lol. No disrespect intended, it’s just always humorous to me how some people put so much energy in researching reasons to disprove instead of using that same energy to actually read the Bible itself. Whether one agrees with it or not they should still take the time to learn what the book even speaks about.

Thanks for addressing this! These Black hebrews are one of many groups in the African Diaspora who want to be anything but African. This ideology betrays a deep-rooted insecurity that is the product of an inferiority complex inculcated by colonialism. There are also people who will swear up-and-down that they are related to or are the descendants of Native Americans in North or Central America. Again the theme here is “anything but Africans!”. I am a long time subscriber and have admired your works and I have for years studied deeply on African history and have found your channel adding to my knowledge. In saying that I do find in this subject you are using misnomours and possibly your research isn't in depth enough. Research Timbuktu and the families that have their ties to ancient Yaohsharal (Israel). Research the archeplogical remains the artifacts the written history of the migrations after 722 BCE, 585 BCE and 70 CE these are three major dates of mass migration into Kemet then Nubia which later they were in the Gana, Mali and Songhai empires then later fled further south running from persecution. The oral traditions from particular west Africa tribes attest to these plus their names and remnants of the original Ghabaray (Hebrew) language. This is a major part of African history that is not touched. On top of this the black israelites (we have always been black ) who were put in San Tome and Benin by the Portuguese before transported to Jamaica, this was what led to the formation of the maroons. Anyway I can assist as I said in a previous comment. Shalom

I always hear a LOT about these so-called HEBREWS in WEST AFRICA but I NEVER hear anything about the HAMITES in WEST AFRICA. And I own and have read both the Tarikh Al-Sudan and the Tarikh Al-Fettash of TIMBUKTU and in these books they said the ANCESTORS of GHANA, MALI and SONGHAI were ARABS from YEMEN, but I know that this is ISLAMIC propaganda and had to do with the ISLAMIC conversion of WEST AFRICANS. But then you have the CHRISTIAN and JUDAIC conversion of WEST AFRICANS and this is the cause of WEST AFRICANS claiming a HEBREW ISRAELITE ORIGIN. But this all sounds like FAKE HISTORY to me and has NOTHING to do with the TRUTH but has more to do with the CONVERSION of JUDAISM, CHRISTIANITY and ISLAM and you can't take this SERIOUSLY as if their is some TRUTH in it, because there is none. But the earlier ARAB HISTORIANS of the 8th and 9th century A.D made it clear that the TRUE ANCESTORS of WEST AFRICANS were HAMITES from CUSH, EGYPT and CANAAN and LEO AFRICANUS also mentions a CUSHITE, EGYPTIAN and PHILISTINE ORIGIN for NEGROES of WEST AFRICA and mentions the JEWS dwelling NORTH in MOROCCO and ALGERIA. So we have to recognize the REAL and the FAKE HISTORY of the people of WEST AFRICA. The REAL HISTORY is what we were before the arrival of those three RELEGIONS (JUDAISM, CHRISTIANITY and ISLAM), but the FAKE HISTORY is the one given to us by the RELEGIOUS CONVERTERS.

We weren't able to maintain our culture due to colonization. Our story can be read in the Bible. Every question asked in this doc has obvious answer. Find it funny how, when seeking to prove this question right or wrong, we don't see how the Bible clearly details what happened to us before we were brought to America. The Jew-ish people sold to us over the years as the Children of the Most High are descendants of the Europeans who stole our Ancestors; land. That' why they are living in 100 degree weather, while white. How does this not make sense to us? Its truth hidden in plain sight. Oh, and not to mention, Israel sits right on the plate of Africa. Again, the Bible tells how we lost our culture, language and traditions. How these ppl invaded our land, started putting up foreign languages and signs so we'd lose our way. We don't have to put the word Black, in front of Israelite. We are them.

Ashiah Indigo, And that's all great, but we have an example of an ancient Hebrew people in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Lemba, supported by both DNA and cultural evidence. The Lemba actually maintain the ancient Hebrew ways, and scriptures. This is what it looks like if an ancient people maintain their heritage over the millennia. An example of a cultural group like the Lemba doesn't exist in West Africa. So, seeing as we have such a plain example of what it would look like, it severely hurts the case of the Hebrew Israelites to make the same claim without such evidence.

+Imani Ife thanks for the response and conversation. And I don't deny that. Home Team talked about the small groups of Hebrews in West Africa, and I talked about the Lemba, who are confirmed as being ancient Hebrew descendants. The problem is there are groups inside the Hebrew Israelite movement who claim that the majority of African slaves shipped to America are descendants of Hebrews and the Hebrews were dominant in West Africa, when evidence proves otherwise. If I'm understanding you, you're saying the same thing. That the Hebrews weren't the dominant culture in West Africa. There could be a African Hebrews in my ancestral past, but that doesn't mean they were dominant in my ancestry, so because of that, I don't follow Mosaic Law. My own family kept our African traditions (folk practices) and African foods alive, so I know for a fact that my family are ethnic and cultural Africans. The Sefwi of Ghana The Sefwi of Ghana, a people of approximately 1500, who reside in the southwest mountainous region of the country, bordering Uganda, about 400 miles away from Ghana’s capital Accra, are believed to be Jews from the post second Temple era. They had always kept Kosher, eating only chicken, sheep and goats. They do not eat cattle because they said 400 years ago in Mali they, being Jews, were forbidden to have cattle and thus eventually forgot how to properly slaughter them according to kosher law. They also circumcise their males on the 8th day, rested and worshiped on Sabbath (Saturday), and separated their menstruating women. They also celebrate a feast that resembles Passover. The Sefwi Hebrews of “New Adiembra” village of 300 or so are called by the surrounding peoples, “the proverbial wandering Jews.” The Sefwi believe that they come from ancient Israel and first came to Mali 400 years ago and then proceeded to the Ivory Coast and then 150 years ago settled in Ghana. In fact, the Sefwi believed they were the only Jews left on earth until a Jewish Sefwi man in the 1980’s traveled Accra and inquired at an embassy if there were any other Jewish peoples in the world. By this he was put in touch with the Israeli Embassy and the Sefwi and the Israelis have had a working relationship ever since. Through the support of a Hebrew synagogue in Iowa the Sefwi Hebrew community is now thriving.

Great video. Been waiting for you research and view on this topic. Like you said, there are some elements of truth in the Black Hebrew Israelite claim but they are great incorrect to claim all or most black Africans are /were Israelites. The language, culture, religions, mythology, etc, of most Africans say otherwise, as you also noted. I also have a copy of From Babylon to Timbuktu and was just looking through it before watching this video. When I bought it a few years ago I was eager to read it after hearing about how great and influencial it is. As I read it I was intrigued but some points he made but red flags went up for me when the author kept inserting "Black" infront of certain historical figure of Hebrew or semitic origin. "How do you this person had black skin or negroid features?" I think to myself. From my research and observation, the ancient Hebrews and Israelites in the middle and near east were not described by their neighbors and by themselves as being as dark skin as the Hamites and Cushites. The hebrew word Cush means and was synonymous with black, which distinguish them from Semites, descends of Shem, which means 'name' and 'renown'. There is more I can add but good job. Waiting for the next part to this video.

@Eber Yahuan I'm Yoruba from Nigeria. I don't know of any Chinese desecration of Yoruba culture or any other black African culture for that matter. It's impossible for foreigners to desecrate the Yoruba culture; it's too dominant and dynamic. The Chinese in Nigeria are mainly in railway construction and manufacturing. In Nigeria their presence is mainly beneficial. But I hear some of them are illegitimately in mining. There are many Nigerians who are also resident in China doing legitimate and illegitimate businesses. The world is global now; no nation can be insular. Africa is 2.5 times the size of North America.with a population of 1.2 billion people. Nigeria has a population of 200M people. The Chinese presence is negligible. They cannot overrun African population or heritage. Some of them even integrate into the communities by marriage, food and dressing. Don't believe all you read on social media. Always FACT check.

Blue Dude "According to the 17th century Tarikh al-Fattash and the Tarikh al-Sudan, several Jewish communities existed as parts of the Ghana, Mali, and later Songhay empires. One such community was formed by a group of Egyptian Jews, who allegedly traveled by way of the Sahel corridor through Chad into Mali. Manuscript C of the Tarikh al-Fattash described a community called the Bani Israel that in 1402 existed in Tindirma, possessed 333 wells, and had seven princes as well as an army. Another such community was that of the Zuwa ruler of Koukiya (located at the Niger river). His name was known only as Zuwa Alyaman, meaning "He comes from Yemen". According to an isolated local legend, Zuwa Alyaman was a member of one of the Jewish communities transported from Yemen by Abyssinians in the 6th century CE after the defeat of Dhu Nuwas. Zuwa Alyaman was said to have traveled into West Africa along with his brother. They established a community in Kukiya at the banks of the Niger River downstream from Gao. According to the Tarikh al-Sudan, after Zuwa Alyaman, there were 14 Zuwa rulers of Gao before the rise of Islam in in the second half of the eleventh century." I'll provide more info.

I think original Africans (Alkebu-lan) have the most diverse history of all races or groups of people. The Israelites were composed of the 12 tribes, later becoming 2 kingdoms, then 1 group (Judah, Jews). They were like tribes within a tribe. Like the inner cities are today. There was more than one way to become a part of the Israeli Kingdom other than birth. It's a long definition of historical facts. Those definitions have changed through the years. Abraham was not Jewish, but yet called Father of the Jews. Israel and Judah are 2 different Kingdoms but yet the same.

Im born & raised in E. Africa... went to Primary/Elementary & Middle sch, Secondary/High sch in my country. I went to College here. As early as 3rd grade, We started learning about Ancient Kingdoms and Religions of different parts of Africa. By the time I finished high school, we had been taught about ALL the indigenous tribes & religions of ancient kingdoms & all the current tribes & religions in African societies today. I MUST admit, NEVER did I hear from my grandparents & relatives nor were we taught in sch, ANYTHING about BLACK HEBREW ISRAELITES. I only heard about that here in America. KWANZA is also something else I learned about here. There is NO holiday called KWANZA in Africa. Besides KWANZA means "FIRST." Im open minded about learning more about African American culture and I respect the knowledge im getting here... and want to learn more. BUT religious beliefs evolve over time. My question then is; ☆ Why do we feel the need for Black Hebrew Israelites to have originated in Africa? ☆Do we then feel, that notion lends it more legitimacy? I humbly dare ask bcz I realise the Slave Trade went on for 400 years! Our ancestors were traded between the Caribbean, America & Europe. Wherever they went they assimilated in order to survive. ☆Could it be that Black Hebrew Israelites grew from the ancestors many journeys? IMO, if thats how they came about, then that carries just as much weight as it would mean our ancestors mentally evolved and formed their own religion and beliefs from what they could remember of their origins and what they had learnt along their journeys. I see nothing wrong with that at all.

The information you bringing out to me only validates that our ancestors while in west Africa sinned against our God, in which got us shipped around the world on cargo slave ships. I'm also surprised you're running with cultural assimilation. We all have European slave names here . Not much at all left from Africa or any native culture on its west coast. Ultimately this is a SPIRITUAL issue. Which is beautiful any race or nationality are INVITED to choose to identify with Judeo/Christian culture to their benefit. It's ultimately about monotheism . This was the origin of spiritual division since Sumerian pre flood empires.. I am really glad you addressed tho. Dr Randolph is NOT the end all be all. Clearly there are holes in his theories. But even European maps and historians corroborate with a hebrew presence in North and west Africa. Truly no one really knows How it all went down. But someone is fulfilling prophecies of the curses to the letter and it cannot be ignored. And the only freedom is to take off SPIRITUAL shackles. This could be a topic of yours. Just what advantge does a.polytheistic spiritual mindset serve. Has it really benefited the African people????.

With a bunch of weak surface trash. FYI, it started in Equatorial East Africa, so you and your so-called scholars don't know what the hell you're talking about. The oldest verified scribe on which the foundation of African Hebrew text is based is Enoch the Ethiopian (not to be confused with the Horn of Africa aka modern Ethiopia.), five scrolls aka books. Here's little information, you obviously don't know the true meaning of Kush in Equatorial East Africa. And what the European literature distorts. Lastly, the migration of the Equatorial east African north led to the popular iconic names such as Canaan, and other clans which weren't a single people but a group of various clans of East African Migrants. They settled in Babylon Egypt, Israel southern Turkey, and even others in western and Southern Europe. Abraham's father Terah was a Canaanite settler. Like every person of whatever clan was. At issue is you and your so-called western-educated scholars only know the whitewashed version. For the record we are not Jews, we are Israelites, some from the clan of the Yahudim that the heathens corrupted into the modern term Jew. No one from Israel was called a Jew 2000 years ago, which is when Christianity lies and makes a claim to the Messiah of Israel. It would take many more paragraphs to break down even that confusion. Don't ever try to tell our story, the best you can do is ask us to define our story.

While I DO NOT claim or subscribe to Hebraic descent, it can be argued that large groups of "Hebrews" or "Yisraelites" had already adopted the non-Abrahamic religious practices of other tribes - like the Canaanites, for instance, who were an African-type group. The "Old Testament" is fraught with the Yisraelite struggle between "Yahwism" (if you will) and succumbing to the religious pressure of their neighbors. Many people identified as Yisraelites would have practiced something other than strict or conventional Yahwism, particularly after the Assyrian conquest. These practices most likely continued as they migrated further into the continent's interior. So, in many cases, the Yisraelite strain would've been indistinguishable from other non-Abrahamic African groups if you don't know what to look for. You can see this among a faction of the Fon or Ewe (I forget which group) where Yahwe-type cults are prevalent - spelled Yehwe, Yave, Yewe, etc. (Lighting and Thunder divinity). Or, in the case of the Yoruba, you can see a clear connection between Oluwa and the Canaanite Eloah (singular form of Elohim) - Oluwa and Eloah are cognates. And the Yoruba theophoric element Olu (e.g., Olu-femi) is apparently a cognate of the Canaanite chief Deity El or the typical "Near Eastern" designation for Deity, ilu ("god," "divinity"). This same root forms Allah, a contraction of = Al + ilah ( cognate of eloah). There's a Canaanite/Yisraelite strain within the Yoruba biocultural substructure. But at face value, you would only notice it if you knew what to look for. These observations, in my opinion, are where Dr. Rudolph Windsor's "purist" position falls short.

Don't know why this presentation was suggested in my feed but I'll respond. After listening, I can determine that the author doesn't know the scriptures. If you don't know the scriptures, you will blindly draw inaccurate conclusions. I'll just speak on the ending. The author attempted to discredit Hebrew Israelites being in western Africa because they were practicing idolatry. If the author understood the scriptures, he would find that the northern 10 tribes of Israel were divorced from Yah because of their wickedness and continuous practices of worshipping other gods. The northern 10 tribes were in Africa before judah migrated, as a collective, into Africa. And even when the northern kingdom was in the land of Israel, they were wicked, observing various gods of the surrounding nations. So is it far fetched that those practices would continue after being driven into other lands? In fact, Paul was preaching to reach the northern kingdom of Israel. Although christianity has turned the "gentiles" Paul was preaching to into everyone under the sun, they were Israelites of the northern kingdom who adopted the customs of the lands where they resided (reference Acts 17-19). They were wicked and the message Paul was presenting to them was that God had open salvation up to THEM! This was because the southern kingdom of Judah had put salvation from them (read acts 13). So lo, they turned to the gentiles (northern kingdom). So just because they were practicing idolatry in Africa means absolutely nothing. They always worshipped other gods. That's why god divorced them (Hosea 1). Tip for you: You must know the scriptures, history, and possess the Ruach of Yah to interpret the scriptures. And you must be a Hebrew to teach it. Israel was, and will forever be, Yahs covenant people to teach His Word of Truth. Anyone else is a counterfeit and a liar! Shalom to those who are of the household of faith.

I know every possible doctrine that you can potentially argue associated with the deception of christianity. I will embarrass you on this thread. I assure you that you might want to find someone else to contend with. I will leave you with a tip: If you're not an Old Testament scholar, go study it. Thoroughly study the prophets. Only then will you understand the strong delusion that has saturated the minds of modern christendom. The Apostles were witnessing to the Old Testament. If the understanding that you preserve cannot be verified through the words of the prophets, it's a lie and you're deceived. Now go study the prophets and get back with me.

Five years ago I decided to research the King James Bible and History of Africa and what I found out was that the King James Bible is all about the people of Africa, which includes Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and Libya, Israel and East Africa which is now middle east and these countries are on the land mass plate continent Africa. Which I did not know myself until recent, and by the way many people do no know either, this is white people and black people. Judaism is a religion aka Jews (the word is only 400 yrs old) like Catholicism aka Catholics. The word Jew was added to the bible after each republishing as well as other words, aka upgrade of words to the newest century. This done by Europeans aka white people. Do the research of the people who own the majority of publishing companies in america. Jew was never in the bible at all, it was added in the 1500s as was the word Judaism. God never called them Jews or refer to them as Judaism at all, it was added and revised in scriptures as was the word jew. You see these people who are of Judaism are Germans, Dutch, Russians, Polish, Italians, French, Brits and Greeks. Yes some are Catholics but many are Judaism. Do the research, because Im still researching., Hebrews were their nationality and not Europeans, just as the Egyptians were a dark skin group of people so were the children of Jacob aka Hebrews (which this word is disappearing from the bible or put in a scripture for you to think that the Jews are Hebrew and Hebrews are Jews and it is so wrong. The people in Israel are not the children of Jacob at all aka Israel. Why didn't god call him jew, he call him Jacob then Israel. You have to study the bible really really close and see the errors, and questions that rise. But don't throw it out just keep studying and researching it. I know the truth now and I'm glad of my African dna, but I don't like the European dna in me, because they have come to kill steal and destroy many many nations. I really feel sorry for them. Never mix Hebrew and jew together because its false. I cried when I found out the truth, I really did. God help us all.

Catholicism is 2,000 years old. That's your first mistake. There are others but after reading a few of your sentences I couldn't take you seriously. All I had to do was Google your bs claims.

.I do believe many Jews were dispersed throughout Europe during the fall of Jerusalem in A.D. 70 by the Romans. I also believe, that many Hebrews, of the tribe of Judah, migrated into Africa hidden by the sands and jungles of the African landscape. I also believe, the coming of Islam disturbed the balance of both the European and African cultures and was the beginning of the greatest mass migration of the son's and daughter's of Noah the world has ever seen. There is nothing to fear, the son's of Noah will meet again in the valley of Nimrud, the valley of decision, the valley of Armeggon very shortly. Whether you are a descendant of Ham, Shem, Japhet , or Canaan, has nothing to do with if you are the chosen of the "True and Living God". Let His truth, set you free, not man's distorted historical lies!

Allow me to give you a Caribbean perspective on this topic. First off this isn't just a movement within black America. There are questions we have and us (the diaspora) being descended from the biblical Israelites is the only answer. How else can you explain Israelite farming practices, smatterings of Hebrew in Caribbean dialects, the EXTENSIVE EFFORT by early white clergymen to demonize and destroy the Apocrypha often called the "black man's Bible" etc? One personal example. I used to hear my grand mother use the word "masa" and it was NOT used in the context of "master", it was used on someone (black or white) she thought was an dick. I always found that so odd. Then to learn many years later it means "burden" in Hebrew. There are sooooooooooo many more stories throughout the Caribbean. Side note, on my island the past generations had a strong belief in TMH and they were often blessed with long lives, in fact only Japan beats us for centenarians per capita. That's only my island tho!Don't get me started on Jamaica and the others. With that being said y'all stay safe and remember the Bible is the only book you need! Study it and no man can fool you.
