very good video but i want to point out that the pictures shown of Ladhaki King Tashi Namgyal is acutally the pictures of the second last king of Sikkim whose name was also Tashi Namgyal. And the name of the dynasty that ruled over sikkim was also named Namgyal dynasty but factually historically they are different dynasties ruling over different kingdoms.

Very wrongly presented. I want to say, sikh empire first vassalized jammu kashmir and gave its rulership to dogras then sikhs attacked the ladakh region and captured it. The sikh + dogra army was lead by general zoravar singh who was also a sikh. The next dogra tiben war was a stalemate no territory change. And to people who say that sikhs have no contribution in making ladakh part of India, I want to say that those were only sikhs that captured ladakh. Only because of sikhs. Distorted history. Ladhak was always part of Tibet since prehistoric days. Indian continent broke from Gandowana and hit Laurasia, mount Everest was formed due to this collusion. Tibet was always part of China since dynastic rule. In 1846 East India Company defeated Shikhs and captured Ladhak. In 1866, oversear Jhonson mark border between India and China wherein Akshaichin was included within India. Border was altered in few occasion. In 1897 MacDonald drew a line wherein Akshaichin became part of China. British was affraid of Russian Tsar, so they created Akshaichin as a buffer zone. Similarly, 100 mile strip of land was gifted to Afghanistan to create a buffer zone. British created all these problem as their policy of divide and rule. Macmohan drawn border line in the eastern sector in 1914 included part south Tibet within India. Now know as Arunachal Pradesh since 1972, before it was NEFA. Hope, you understand the mesh up British left to both the countries. It's time to sit together and solve it with give and take attitude.

Also, Sikhs have no contribution in getting Laddakh in India. Only hindus did it. Dogras were hindus. Also Maharaja Gulab Singh was a hindu.
