Even though I love Mario's struggling expression when he's trying to get out of the sand in the Galaxy games, I still think the original Super Mario 64 game is the most diverse when it comes to him getting stuck in sand as not only can he get stuck in THREE different ways, he even makes an "Oof...!" sound when he gets buried (which was sadly removed from the 2004 DS remake, but the 3 buried animation varieties thankfully remained intact), it just makes it even funnier! 🤣 Heck, you aren't even limited to sand as you can also get stuck in snow, and even ice (which I'm pretty sure was also kept in the remake for the latter), which is even more hysterical! 😂

In Dream Team, Mario and co are searching for the ultibed parts. This one, they are aiming for the Doozing Mattress. Mario accidentally lands the wrong way in the dream world and crashes down. Dreamy Luigi comes in and looks at Mario confused. Mario and Dreamy Luigi then notices the mattress. Getting the mattress was easy. But now, it’s a challenge to get back up.
