My ancestral village is "Nakrali" - Distt.Rawalpindi.Later my family moved to "Chhachi Mohalla" in Pindi. Then in 1947 my family moved to Jammu. Though I was born in Jammu I do recall my elders talking about Nakrali and Pindi always.The best sentence I still remember was "Assa ne Pindi Jehra Chaan Charna Aiya...Uss Heya Kiddray Ni Takkeya". Its my wish if I can visit this "Sarzameen" ever in my life time.Aameen Summa Aameen.❤

Wow...what an amazing video showing a historical place of my city Pindi. I really commend your professional and scholastic way of elaborating the events behind such places that are sighn of our civilisation. I used to write about these places when I was a young man like you and later planned to videograph all such places too and did a little bit of it. Salute to the work done. Amazing documentary, beautifuly filmed and and explained. You actually made us travel to the old time. Thanks alot for this amazing work. This place is now most hated place by the new generation no body wants to go there for shopping. Because it is the dirtiest place in the city now. But this documentary has made us think about banni, in a beautiful way.

Great work brother. My family are from Bani and are also shop keepers in the market. I can remember my grandmother talking fondly talk of the area and how she would sit around the bann during her days and ov Mai viroo. Once again thank you for bringing back some beautiful memories. I used to live with my parents in the first street in saidpuri gate entering from banni choke up to 1958.Used to visit talab ban mai Veero almost every evening.We use to sit on stone benches.
