Well you guy requested him and he's here!
Now their are a few minor errors with my commentary such as the extinction of the saurian race and the murder of kotal ket'z but i hope that doesnt take away a lot from the video.

Two Flawless Victories in a row and a completed Fatality on the Pit Level. If you could pull that off, you faced Reptile at the bottom of the Pit in a bonus fight. At least, that's what I remember from the original MK, that and Reptile possessed both Scorpion and Sub Zero's fighting abilities as well as their combined powers. He became a playable character in MK2 and had his own techniques, as well as fatalities.

Well, Reptile is sort of a good guy. I mean, he isn't fighting for Earthrealm, but he certainly isn't a villain. He's more of a tragic character. Even a hero if you consider his ultimate goal. Only, fate's not been kind to him. He's my favourite actually, for both his goal and the fact that he doesn't show much of his personality, except in the fight opening cutscenes, which greatly showcase his loyal, honorable nature and desperate desire for company, even though he seems to be a loner from the outside.

Yeah, I kinda wished she was more serious with Reptile too, but unfortunately and somewhat fortunately, her dialogue is most often just a joke. She seems to be taking a similar route to Johnny, in that she is more hilarious in battles, but she fortunately does have her more serious moments.

Longtime Reptile fan here. Disheartens me how he sided with the villains for so long for good intentions, but never got anything out of it. In XI I really think Reptile should join the warriors of light or at the very least, Kotal Khan should make peace with Earthrealm and work together.

Id love to imagine that Reptile is so freakin done with Outworlds shit that he just shrugs and says "to hell with it, lets ask a god". He goes to Fujin, who is glad to help him revive his race. Liu Kang, knowing Reptile isnt truly bad, creates him a realm for him and his people... a new Zaterra. One that will be safe, due to Kitana being the newest Kahn.

Difference is, scorpion got his clan back and it's just a clan. Reptile's whole race was killed, no amount of recruiting will get him his race back. Scorpion and sub zero got a semi-happy ending for their respective clans while reptile is still alone and desperate to fix that, the creators really need to give reptile a win...

I mean... he kind of is a good guy. Imagine being Zaterran. They fucked with no-one, no-one fucked with them. Then Shao Kahn comes along and has to destroy it all. But the last Zaterran... one individual left. He plays hell to revive his race, millions of people he doesnt even know exist beyond the fact that theyre also Zaterran. Reptile revives his race? He would be folk hero. Worshipped like a god, because he would have been the last Zaterran, and had the courage to make a stand and help his kind. Never giving up, never giving in to mere riches. He only runs away, because he knows if he dies, his race has no chance to return.

Well, if Reptile went with Mileena, he'd be dead by now, but even then, at least Kotal sort of wants peace with Earthrealm (only is quick to abandon it when trouble arises) but case in point, Reptile is sort of a good guy. Only, he's on the wrong side of the table sometimes. And hey, at least he lived to see a better emperor than the douche that murderised his species.

When I was young, I loved the Reptile character even though he is more or less supposed to be evil. As far as reuniting with his nearly extinct race goes, it seems he got a happy ending in MK2, 9 and 10. He got a sad ending in MK3, and a really tough break in number four!

Gabriel Tejada well he is made of several souls so he doesn’t really have a true name but in his mk9 ladder ending it says king jerrod’s soul who was the Edenian king who was killed by Shao Kahn so his soul took over the body and was basically king Jerrod with a different outfit

Reptile has always been my favorite character since I was little and played ultimate MK3 for the first time. But I’ve always been upset that he gets so mistreated and always beat up and betrayed. But now it seems like in the comics and MKX he’s more of a good guy because of his alignment with Kotal who isn’t technically a bad person either and that’s a breath of fresh air to see reptile show loyalty and fight for the side that isn’t douchy like Quan chi and shinnok

Its really fun to watch these videos, im such a huge MK fan but i don't always know everything about a charcter or im just too lazy to like go back and try to get every info i can lol. Every know and then we learn something new, for this one the whole de evolution made sense to me as i was pretty much confused as to why he kept becoming more reptilian with time. Personally i preffer the human reptile but some of the de evolutions look pretty cool like MK9 and MKX's. Keep it up man :)
