Considering the fact that it took me a month to finish this. Im really dissapointed in how it turned out. It looks rushed and it kind of was. I didnt include as many details as i could have. And parts that dont effects Russia are shown extremelly oversimplified. It was also very hard to find Russian medieval music so i had to resort to belarusian and ukrainian songs. Anyways, hope it was enjoyable :)

It's nice to see that you keep making these amazing videos :) I myself always run into problems that put me back in time in the production and when I get things done I realise that I don't like how it looks. ("Cough" Vw) Could you help me by explaining how you keep your motivation while working on videos?

Im not actually very motivated when working on videos, i just work on them because i dont have what to do. Thats the reason some of my videos dont satisfy me when they are finished. But i could say that seeing comments like yours motivate me to work on animations :) I would reccomend not rushing to finish stuff. While it might be exhausting at first, being able to animate something the way you want will make you feel better than just finishing your videos as fast as possible. But it might not work for everyone so just rewatch a lot of countryballs videos you admire and try finding what they do to make their own videos better.

No it wasnt. Novgorod knew the golden horde would eventually invade them so they offered the mongols to become their puppet state. That way, they could avoid conflict. Even though officially they were under mongol rule they were still independent. So you are right in a way

as a Russian I want to say thank you for the wonderful video! But only you have one mistake in the video. Thus , in the time of Rus' , Rus' was not only Kievan , but also Novgorodian , and so on . The name of this state changed due to the rule of princes from different small principalities. They also did not have a flag, but there was a banner, which also changed, like the name of the state. @@baffledwaffle6319 Yes. 1. Ukrainian regions of Zakarpattia and Bukovyna for some reason not in Ukraine after WW2 2. The city of Kyiv is older than Novgorod and the Kievan Rus' started from Kyiv. 3. There weren't some partisan movements in WW2. But the animation is awesome!
