Mortal Kombat Conquest [90s tv series] said Tsang Tsung got his powers from an old master who taught him to gain power by harnessing the chi from his enemies but than later became obsessed with capturing the souls, and this is why he was banished to out-world. I would love to see Tsang Tsung make some kind of pack or be forced to fight for Earth Realm against Out-World among other realms.

I'm sure they could do that now, he'd just be too OP. In MK9 cpu Shang can morph. I'm not sure if the game randomly selects just a few fighters for him to morph into (like MKT on PS1), but I'm sure they could do it perfectly on the MKX engine. But then why would anyone pick any other character? Why choose between Scorpion and Sub-Zero if you can just pick Shang Tsung and morph to counter pick your opponent? He'd be so broken and immediately banned from tournaments. Though it begs the question, what variation would he use? Maybe that's how they'd balance it-- he can morph into anyone but only their variation-less base form. But I agree, I've been saying the same thing since Deadly Alliance. I also hope (even though we won't) that one day we get Motaro and Moloch as bosses again, with the new fighting engine.

ON a side note, Bo Rai Cho teaches Bi Han to heal as Kung Lao did Kung Lao figured it out while Bihan was still struggling with his past/present if Bi Han CAN heal with Bo's help . . Bi Han will be able to retain his Sub-Zero self YET still have his shadow skills, style one is Noob/2 is Sub-Zero/3 is Balance: Bi Han with portions of Sub/Noob to be ONE with and his MK9 alternate Zero costume can be his Bi Han look like Kuai Liang and Hanzo Hasashi

I don't remember which ending this was, but Bo Rai Cho seeks a champion to take down the new self-imposed god Leu Kang. Bo Rai Cho finds the weakened Shang Tsung and decided to train HIM as earths new hero. I really hope the next MK continues with this role-reversal story.

You make really good videos with great details and your usually spot on in my opinion the only thing I noticed you being wrong on was the whole Quan Chi Deception ordeal. In MK deception when Raiden sacrificed himself in a last attempt to save earth realm on Deadly Alliance, yes indeed it killed Tsung releasing the souls; however it did'not kill Quan Chi. If you watch closely and I mean pretty much just don't take your eyes off of Quan Chi then you will clearly see that he uses the amulet to escape. Now how The Dragon King end up obtaining it is a bit weary, its Clear Quan Chi escaped and probably went back to the Neatherealm or into temporary hiding. Either way You should do one last video on Bo Rai Cho that would give me and a lot of hardcore mk fan some mad respect for ya ha. Also go back and watch the Deception intro and you shall see what i am talking about.

I beleive there was a mistake on your take though ... pre-mk in the original timeline, QC had obtained the map of the temples of the elements by striking a deal with Shang Tsung, basically getting the map in exchange for the spells necessary to resurrect Syndel in earthrealm as a back up plan in case something happened in the 10th tournament, this way he had to contengency plans in case something hapened ... Aside from that thanks for all the character coverage and looking forward for the MK finales of the original timeline events. .. Also curious about what the next FG series would be, hopefully Tekken or KOF since those have richer history than SF ... Happy holidays
