The Flash is a great superhero. Yes, he was a bit cheesy in the early years (like a lot of DC hero's were). Aqua Man, Lantern all were camp, even Batman. However, look at them now. They, along with Flash are now respectable awesome superheroes. Flash is getting the mainstream he deserves. I love his CW series. I am also looking forward to the motion picture. In regards to his powers....Who wouldn't want to be faster than the speed of light? Or go through walls? Or time travel? Or sonic punch? Anyone would! The Flash is a major superhero who is badass!!

It's aweful that they canceled it right when Vandal Savage was about to do something with Darkseid.

Michael LaBonte That is competly false, Hulk would heal as would everyone with a powerful healing factor, also in the Marvel universe he is useless unless he has that device that gathers speed force but that makes him slower than Quicksilver and there are also people in the DC universe as fast as him or closer to his speed and Reverse Flash always gives him trouble so already quite a few people he can't get rid of, he also can't go too fast or he will disintegrate and go into the speed force, killing himself. Also for cosmic biengs that shit wouldn't hurt them at all and if someone like say Thanos had the Infinity Gauntlet, they could easily deal with the Flash. With that Gauntlet Thanos easily took on the very universe itself, he only lost because he wanted to, and other beings like Galactus wouldn't even be fazed by such attacks, then there are reality warpers which could easily erase him from existance, time travelers who can prevent him from being born. The more I go on, the more it sounds like bullcrap that he could solo any universe.

The argument stems from when they were made before hulk was made the fantastic four were the most prominent heroes at marvel and the Thing was just thought of as being the strongest guy around but when hulk came around things started to change and people begin to argue about who is the strongest But after the thing lost a fight against thunderra people immediately concluded that hulk was stronger then him that and there also was when hulk actually fought against and beat the thing during the world war hulk storyline in a fair fight further proving hulk was things superior though this is not to say that thing would go down easy against the hulk

Thing is treated just as much as family as Susan would treat Johnny and vice versa, and he's not blood related. And being actual blood relatives doesn't destroy the bond they had. In a DC story ,Jay Garrick Flash was in a race with Superman ( forced by Abara Kadabra) Jay told Superman to match his speed exactly, causing the speed force to connect the two, Clark now having Jay's super- speed powers , Jay now having Clark' s powers for a time.

man, there are many awesome shits you could do with the speedforce, time travelling(never should do that, Flashpoint, remember that?), vibrating to killing, run through object, in the opening of the Flashpoint Paradox Flash vibrated his hand so fast that it created some kinda energy orb and he threw it to Reverse Flash's bomb(I don't know what that is, but that is awesome and creative in using Speedforce), making giant tornado by running around, spinning his body or mini tornado by spinning his hands, I'm sure there are many more things the flash can do with his power, it just depends on the creator's creativity:)

Great video! The first (and only) Flash story I've read is the Rebirth storyline, and I absolutely loved it. I've read a bit of Flashpoint, but not the entirety. But I must say that I really love the concept of the Speed Force, and Barry Allen is also a great hero (I really like the other Flashes, too). I'm a little hesitant, however, about reading the new 52 with the changes made to Wally West (and I'm not racist or anything; I'm black, myself. I just don't think it was necessary to change his race, or to make him be from the streets). But whatever, I probably will read it eventually and I also plan on watching the CW show someday soon.

So technically since Barry Allen created the speed force and taps into it to gain his speed, endurance and many other qualities does that not technically mean he can tap into an infinite amount of the speed force. Wally west tapped into the speed of every person on earth including superheros, Barry has an infinite amount of the speed force to draw on without that so does mean he has the potential to be even faster than that feat? technically he should be able to move faster than an infinite amount of speed which frankly is not even speed its something else once you move faster than instantaneous teleportation. Now that he has fused with the black racer, the cosmic death aka one of the most inevitable universal laws of existence and become the black racer and still taps into this infinite speed force.....doesn't that mean he is literally the most powerful person in the entire DC universe disregarding the one above all. Which is probably why he has the title god of death and fastest man alive...

depends, Barry created the speed force and when he died he was consumed by it, Wally was kid flash at the time and changed to The Flash. now, the speed force is used by all speedsters and wally and Barry were given it through the same accident so they should be the same speed wise, however wally has had more time to learn about the speed force and train himself, as seen in Flash Rebirth all that time in the speed force has made Barry rusty since he wasn't a real man but a part of the dimension, so as time progresses Barry should start to learn the same powers that wally has learned.
