It's a good thing I started reading comics when I did, because I don't think I would have enjoyed the PG-13 storylines. Also, this reminds that I've never been a fan of DC's more prominent blond female superheroes Supergirl, Power Girl, and Wonder Girl. They're usually portrayed as headstrong and insubordinate, which always comes off to me as bratty and the fact that they're also possessed of such great power is more than a little worrying. Black Canary is the only real exception.

If you judge the YJ series without thinking about their past lore (judging it without bias) do you think that it was at least a decent show? I am probably not on par with you in terms of comic knowledge but I am fairly proficient and I really liked the series because the characters were quite fleshed out and well thought out.

the main problem is that the YJ cartoon is closer to being a Teen Titans adaptation (from the themes to the characters to the fact that this is a sidekick team). and that there are characters that mainly appear in this series and deserve more recognition. also in itself the cartoon isn't so bad, but I feel like it's overhyped (I also take issue with the overdose of romance that pretty much destroy most of the character development that they could have easily had)

+Yik Long Tay I don't, I tried it and didn't find it that good and it just felt overrated. I did enjoy some parts though (strangely I later realize most of them were the episode written by Peter David, the irony made me laugh) The fact that the comics had very good content in story, character development and general ideas that they could have use for inspiration had they involved these characters is disappointing and a reason why a lot of people are annoyed at thee show

Young Justice is one of the best comic books, I've read in a long time, It has a diverse cast essentially everyone gets character development and it didn't need someone in Bat-Family or whatever rep to make a good book it could drive it's self.

Technis Imperative started 7 months after Young Justice: The Secret, meaning the boys all met WAY before then. Final Night finished 2 years before Technis Imperative, meaning the three boys HAD to have met in Final Night.

Love the Show. I know you might not read this, but I'll give it a shot. Could you do a show on Slade's children? Doing a single show for one of them could be too short or boring, but all of them in one would be cool. You could go over details such as Grant's death, Jericho's broken mind and betrayal, Rose's issues being a titan, and Slade's confession during Blackest Night. Add little zest of going over how each child had issues with their father too. It would be an episode I really nerd out about. Keep up the good work man and thank you for all the good vids so far!

Hey Faust, two questions. 1; what ever happened to characters like Arrowete Empress, and Secret? And 2; would you have preferred if those characters had just stayed as Young Justice instead of becoming the Teen Titans?

I liked the run on the Titans that happened because of the fall out of Young Justice, so I'm ok with what happened! Secret and Arrowette ended up just being normal girls that went to the same school. Empress as far as we can tell continued being a hero, but her appearances after Young Justice were limited.

I could be wrong, but I thought Robin and Superboy met in Superboy/Robin: World's Finest Three. As far as I know Superboy and Impulse don't meet before the comics you mention in your video. I loved this series. I don't think I've read a teen superhero book nearly as awesome as this series ever since.

You say Faust kind of spoiled most of whats going to happen already, so why should bother reading it. When the Video Title Clearly States: "History Of Young Justice". If you was already interested in reading it, why watch this video if you knew it would contain spoilers?? But yet, you still watched it?? That's why I don't watch movie trailers of future films I wanna see, why?? Because they put most of the good stuff in the trailers. So when you actually watch the movie you know what cool or great part of the trailer is coming. Example: World War Z, could you imagine how much better you would appreciate the so called Zombies climbing the Wall if they didn't show them climbing the wall in the trailer. Or when Hulk caught Ironman when he was falling from that Nuclear Explosion in the Avengers. Everybody saw that part coming, why?? Because of trailers. My point is, if you wanna watch, or in your case read something, why potentially ruin a decent portion of the experience by watching this video (trailer)?? Me, I'm not going to watch trailers for the following films, because I know I already want to see these movies: ANTMAN, THE AVENGERS: THE AGE OF ULTRON, THE NEXT MAZE RUNNER, STAR WARS, JURRASIC WORLD, Fantastic Four and The Terminator In my opinion, the less I know about a movie trailer to a movie I wanna see, the more surprised and pleased I'll be when I watch the movie for the 1st Time. Sorry for being long winded about this, but trailers can ruined a lot of Surprises for people. Because Hollywood usually puts parts of ALL the Best Scenes in the trailers.

This looks great but I still don't understand why you don't like the animated show. Sure it differs from the source material but isn't that a good thing in some cases? Do you really want the same thing again? There were many great adaptations that diverged from the source material and they were fantastic. Batman: The Animated Series, Spectacular Spiderman, and Arrow/Flash are all great examples. Would you have been happier if they just called the show Young Titans or something like that?

It's a shame that YJ graphic novels are so limited in availability. I really enjoyed reading what little (a handful of single issues) I've been able to find. At first, I was really excited when they announced they were making an adaptation of it as an animated series but it ended up disappointing me to see how loosely based it ended up being /:

+Caitlin Panettieri (CaityTheHedgehog) Cough cough Artemis was originally almost an entirely different character from Arrowette, but when the YJ TV show was made, they essentially merged the two together as well as adding in a bunch of other stuff. Essentially, YJ show Artemis is based on Arrowette.

Wait isn't superboy an young adult because he's a clone of superman that didn't complete his creation to become a clone of superman(adult) so he became a young adult so when the adults became young wouldn't superboy become a toddler.

No, because he was stuck at the age of 16 in his comic, its a Key plot point in his personal story. Plus 16 isn't a young adult, it's a Teenager, so he would be pushed into full adulthood. The only people who were made Tollders were the JSA as they are the oldest heroes, the JLA were made about 12-14 years old as they were in their 20's- late 30's and Young Justice who were Teens were made adults.

Because not all teams have the same feel, for example the JLA and the JSA both have adult heroes, but they are two totally different teams that are capable of telling totally different stories and I highly doubt anyone would complain that both of those exist. The same rule applies for Young Justice and The Titans, two different teams capable of telling totally different stories.

At the time, the Titans were a group of young adults consisting of a group of ex-sidekicks and teen heroes that grew up.

Adam Hoffman The titans only consisted of sidekicks alone in the 1960s. Since the 1980s yeah some members of the titans have been ex-sidekicks, but that has neither been the focus or the point of the team, and the majority of the titans have been stand alone heroes since then too. Even the 2003 run was written in a very specific way to make you forget that a few of the kids in the team actually worked with an adult counterpart.
