Given the Henry Iv, had to face and suppress three Percy rebellions, Welsh revolt of giendour and repelled French invasion during his 13 year king reign. He did very well to remain on the throne and pass his kingdom on intact to his son , the future Victor of Agincourt in 1413.

I think I remember watching a video about the arrow wound and how it was treated. I recall it involved a special mechanism to remove the arrowhead, then filling the wound with less and less honey over time so it could heal from the inside to the outside. The man who did it received a generous pension from it if I recall. Edit: This video says it was wine used to clear the wound, but I was close.

I'm far from a medical expert, but it seems like wine would be used for its antiseptic properties more than to encourage the healing process. So you may still be right about the honey.
