As much as I love Jim Lee's art, I think he's representation of Robbert Batterson's look is a bit off offcourse it's an amazing art peace but I rly am in love with this new version wich is actually based of movie references and is not just a custom like artist representation of the character but an actual The Batman statue. I love the pose, I love all the details of his amazing Batsuit and this is probably THE only Batman statue wich I would want to display his unmasked portrait too. We don't know how close the final product will be to the prototype but I believe Blitzway absolutely nailed the Pattinson likeness on both portraits, much more so than Hot Toys. If you can only get one of these statues, go with whatever you like best but I'd suggest going with the movie one, it'll be much more sought-after and coveted in the future.

Thank you for another informative, entertaining and thoughtful video Chris. I pre-ordered the Jim Lee version with all the "bells and whistles" and am going to keep it even after seeing all these other fantastic options. The Blitzway statue looks amazing! I can't find anything wrong with it other than I usually prefer sculpted capes. However in this particular instance I think "cloth" cape works best. Still waiting to see the Queens Studio full reveal tomorrow (rooted hair and the miniature Batmobile worries me a bit) and looking forward to a possible JND down the road. But If I had to chose now I would still keep the Jim Lee art version and go with the Blitzway as well. Both pieces look amazing and will bring joy to serious collectors. An absolutely incredible piece that encapsulates this version of 'The Batman'. I love how the base reflects his badass muscle car Batmobile and obviously everything about the Batman himself is astounding. That price is steep, but they know this is a good one and will sell. I'll wait a bit to see what the other companies announce, but this is going to be near-impossible to beat!

This is a really awesome statue and probably the most movie accurate version of them all. But tbh I really love the Queen Studios version a lot better due to the rooted hair on the head sculpt. I just recently PO the P1 Arkham Knight 1/3 scale from Sideshow and I might have to pick this one up as well! Thanks again for another great video Chris!

WOW... looks amazing. Chris what are your thoughts on synthetic batman capes? Have you ever had any issues with peeling/cracking from prime1? Do you spray them with a specific product to ensure longevity? Thanks! Also... the queen studio unmasked portrait does not look good imo. Absolutely lovely statue from Prime 1 especially the more accurate to the movie version love the head sculpt love the accessories and that bass looks beautiful I have no problem at all that is a fabric Cape you can fix it however you want this is a very beautiful piece and I am itching to get started on a DC line I just want to see if they're going to create Catwoman they're already going to do it and they did a review of a 6 scale version of her I want to see if prime one will do that it would go so good with this peace love it

This looks fantastic, but I pre-ordered the Jim Lee with the sculpted cape. I will most likely display it without the Pattinson head. I bought it because I like this version of the suit. Movie correctness doesn't matter to me. The only disadvantage of the Jim Lee version with the sculpted cape is the size vs this statue. 3.5" taller, 11" wider and 8.5" deeper.

Maybe I need to see this in more light, but I liked the bulk of the srt piece better. The only things I like better on this piece are the full Pattinson portrait and the removable chest bat. However, the art piece could still design theirs to be removable. The art piece base is more interesting, and the alternate portraits are good for someone who doesn't have a lot of Batman pieces. At that price point, I'm leaning towards the art piece.

I went back and watched your review of the art edition, and I think I change my mind- for a movie piece, this version is better because of the Pattinson likeness and the closer resemblance of the suit design and accessories. I think the Jim Lee version is a tad too bulky. I wish the price point was more reasonable, but I imagine the two companies need a bit more profit to split. Decisions, decisions!

Only 1/3 I have is battle damage Arkham Knight Batman, this is double that.. this is amazing but prices have doubled since 4 years ago and it’s crazy. Queen Studios head sculpt was not good, looked like a cheap doll with little resemblance in my opinion. This is the best version shown so far.

Can't go wrong with either the Jim Lee version or this one. Between the two personally id go for the Jim Lee version as Id want a more artistic representation look rather than the more film accurate feel. That being said id love to see what JND does before commenting to one of these pieces. Also, were those canisters confirmed as adrenaline? I know it says that in the photo. Its green and the way he over reacted after taking it in the film, I thought it was Venom.

Do you recommend the prime 1 or the queen studio version ? I think for now the prime is perfect. Hope it will not change for the final release. I am a bit disappointed with the queen with the base and the likeness is no as good as prime, but they frequently improve. Which one would you pick for yourself if it was the exact same price ?

Figure stance wise they all are gonna be the same regardless of prime 1 queen or JND. The swap outs always put prime ahead of the game. Base wise JND is the most basic but queen is too overdone with the batmobile. Sculpt is the separator. So far prime looks better than queen and if JND is anything like the prior statues they made they might be on top on that category. So far prime one is the winner for me and the sculpt is fantastic.

Hello ! Great Statue ! For once it’s a Batman who can be exposed with the unmasked portrait. Nothing to have with the video, but Virtual Devil (french channel of statue’s review) has been troll by a hater during his live on KZbin (he sent some nudes during the live) and KZbin deleted the channel without listening that it was a mistake and a try of the person to close the channel. Could you see with Samuel of Virtual Devil for supporting him ? It’s a current problem for « little » KZbinrs those days.. But is it weird that, although I like the light feature in front, the "batman" name plate is actually on the back.... I wish you could remove that and display it on the front but I didn't read anything like that on the description....

After the Heath Ledger 1/3 fiasco, I cannot trust Prime 1 anymore. The prototype looks good.

I don't trust anything to do with Blitzway there statues are a bit of a hit or miss. That joker looked terrible when I saw that prototype and the final product looked even worse. This Batman does look good but it's a prototype, lets see if the final product comes out as good.

Unpopular opinion. I didn’t think it was as amazing as everybody else thinks. The beginning was really cool. But it kinda dragged on. And the ending fight was too predictable and boring. Patrick Bateman is still the best Batman.

Thanks for the video Chris. Pretty pedestrian statue for $1600. In my opinion. I realize everybody has “The Batman” fever right now and companies are going to capitalize on that. I just hope collectors will be patient and wait for the version that really blows their socks off. Instead of making impulse buys on every piece that goes up for pre-order. As for me, I’m going with the Jim Lee edition. Has more of a “WOW” factor and a smaller price point. But, congrats to all those who are picking this up.

The level of detail on the suit and Mask are better on this one I think. This has some of the best detail of any Batman statue really. Though admittedly the pose and base are very basic for the price.
