Seeing that poor crew struggle so badly with the skelly gallon made me realize I’m a weirdo for enjoying fighting them as a solo sloop. Usually sink them pretty fast to, love the skelly fleet, always loose like 40+ cannonballs but still 9/10 encounter.

I can see it from both perspectives. As someone who does a lot of PVE to get my loot, it's massively aggravating to have hours of work just get taken from you with nothing to show for it except a bill to repair your ship. On the other, I know that doing my PVE and getting away with it without getting caught or sank is what makes it worthwhile. Still, I get his anger. I'd be angry too after the initial steal, the Meg, the Kraken during them trying to sink a Skelly Galley, only to just have you show back up and finish the job and make all of his work be for nothing. No one likes their time spent on something to amount to nothing.

As someone who sucks at PvP, probably over 100 hours played and very few success stories in PvP, you just laugh it off, this is a cartoon game about pirates, you're gonna get your ship raided, you're gonna die. I fucking suck at this game but when my ship gets raided, you just laugh, this game is fun, and it's about pirates, why wouldn't your boat get raided, especially if you're as bad as me, I'm a free target! I genuinely can't understand people who go on a game knowing they're gonna get pissed off and put themselves through all this, and being in that call just getting mad with all your friends just sounds like a really shitty environment

Alright I’m going to fight these comments. This isn’t a pirate game, it’s a “pirate themed” sandbox. Constantly searching for other boats to sink and to steal loot because “duh it has thieves in the name of the game” is like playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and doing nothing but killing and committing crimes as Arther because he was an outlaw. Hitbo here is a fine example of doing PvP right, and brother needs his content. But the rest of you need to at least say something when you attempt to sink a ship, interact with a fellow pirate, you can at least treat another player to a bit more dignity then a skelly ship. I f*cken take back what I said what a god awful take, safer seas!? Really!? We all know that thing is a joke and just good for newer players to get a hold of the ropes. Which the other crew at the star probably could use a little.

I would never recommend playing sea of thieves to anyone that is wondering if they should get it. Sea of thieves waists my time from not having a good hit registration to leget spin bot hackers you name it it's possible in this game. A game for pirates to make m8s steal treasure and go on bountiful quest but come to a halt when someone just never dies from kegs to 1 blunders+sniper or just knows where you're at within 150 m. Will this game ever be good probably not but people can keep hoping and rare can keep disappointing.
