I have to say that I always admired actors work, especially when they’re able to deliver a performance that makes us forget that we’re seeing he or she playing this or that part, but real human beings and I think thag Cate’s performance in this movie was just one of those cases, I mean, you totally forget that you’re seeing her, you’re seeing a totally new, sort of speak, human being, she was absolutely brilliant in this movie.

Finally actual questions! You can't ask Cate Blanchett whatever you like, you must have an actual idea behind your questions, huh? It's interesting though, comparing Jennifer Lawrence's backstage interview to Cate's. How different! Right? They asked Jennifer questions like "Did anything cute happen today?" and from Cate actual questions involving her performance which it should be about. I feel bad for Jennifer....

It was a mind fuck - Cate Blanchett, nvr thought I'd hear her say that, excellent sense of humour, Blue Jasmine was up there with Midnight In Paris, Manhattan, Annie Hall and Stardust Memories to me

I enjoy the work of a lot of people who realised the script of an alleged pedophile yes, I can't suddenly hate Midnight In Paris anymore than I can hate any film I love because you cannot tie artist to art. Books belong to their readers.
