myles Wilson the ratio is smaller on Bismark, I cant remember exactly what it was, but yes you are true. But around 100 people survived on Bismark while a lot more survived on Titanic. This one question has been in my mind since I was 5 or 6 : Why is Titanic so famous when other ships like the Hood, Arizona,Bismark, and Yamato are not famous among large groups of people? I personally think Titanic is way less important than the Arizona.

APG12 it's because titanic was seen by many as 'unsinkable'. And as we all know it was the biggest, grandest ship in the world in 1912. And the movie made $ 2 billion. I think it was in the early middle part of the film, not sure if it was after the scene when Hitler and his generals plans for the Steiner attack, the famous Jodl objects scene in the parody. Eva Braun launched a party with the rest of the German staff who still worked with Hitler and an explosion occurred afterwards.
