The book I read had an old black sun embossed image on it . I read stuff about when Hitler ranted . He stated or others , I can't remember which , as if something else was speaking through him ! My ex mother-in-law was born in Germany before the war. Her father was a mechanic who kept the fleet of cars for the SS and her mother was a psychic for the 3rd Reich. Due to some naughty behavior of her father, I won't go into details, he was sent to cool his heels in a concentration camp. @@framestomind7548 I was thinking exactly the same thing. These men did not lead easy lives. Merely following orders drove many of them crazy. When you are in the military, you don't question the orders given to you by your superiors, you do your job and carry out those orders to the best of your abilities. The mental and emotional strains on many of these men, that were merely being good soldaten and following orders, were truly great. It gives you another perspective to consider than simply regurgitating the usual "sick monsters" and sentiments like that which makes up almost everything written about them

Well, no. The problem with Nazis and Nazi-Germanys history is that there is so much to it, there have been much more imminent things to unearth then this small part. With that in mind it makes sense that an somewhat dispensable part of the whole process has been pushed back and wasnt given that much attention. But this doesnt mean the historians weren't aware that occultism had its place. In fact there have been quite some books, regarding that topic, during the last 50 years. But in the grand scheme of all, it was and still is just a minor point.

+Desiree Marie C Have you ever read that book "The Good Old Days? It's about the Nazi camp Commandants' and camp guards' ( the SS Totenkopf Verbande ) and some of the Einsatz Gruupen mens' diaries. It's a great read. The name comes from the name of a photo album found in a liberated camp in a SS Totenkopf Verbande's Commandant's office that read "The Good Old Days" ( you know how photo albums often have names like "Precious Moments" and "Treasured Memories"?). The photo album contained tons of pictures of piles of corpses and the like, letters between the SS men and their homes and families, and some offices had diaries the SS men. It's a great book, if you liked this, you'd probably like that. I also have the Memoirs of Albert Speer ( "Inside the Third Reich" ), Heinz Guderian ( "Panzer Leader" ), and Walther Schellenberg ( "Hitler's Secret Service" ). You would probably like those as well, you should look them up

Rudolf Hesse’s plane crash landed on the Eaglesham Moor, south of Glasgow, near where I live.
