I found out why they call it the "Somsak Equation." There is this famous dude named Somsak Jeamteerasakul, he is a famous lecturer whom was born in Bangkok.

For level 4 and 5, you could start from 47's Suite. It's closer, and you can grab a a letter opener if you're not very confident about making that second shot.

FYI, the Extinguisher no longer kills, BUT, there are propane tanks in the area where the second target takes a smoke break. When you’re facing the target, turn around and look on the ground, there should be two tanks there. Edit Note: playing via Hitman 3…sorry Freeze! Love the guides, even though some stuff is different, still VERY helpful.

@@MrFreeze2244 and I’m an idiot…I was logged into my business KZbin…but yes, you’re right. It does kill in Hitman 1, but playing off Hitman 3 knocks them out…hilariously…usually picks them up significantly.

But yeah, it sucks that the Hitman sequels changed the extinguisher explosions from killing a victim to just knocking him/her out. A lot of the Legacy Escalation strategies have to be altered because of this.

Your guides are excellent dude, but you really need to redo these Escalation guides. The fire extinguisher did not kill the second guy, only knocked him out in Hitman 2.

There's tons of escalations. I can't remake them all whenever there's a patch. You said yourself, it's a guide so you have the basis of what you need to do. It isn't necessary to remake everything whenever there's a subtle difference. Besudes, this is a Hitman 1 guide not Hitman 2. In Hitman 2 fire extinguishers aren't lethal. So you need a propane flask instead.

@@MrFreeze2244 I see your point, but for example for the Bangkok - Fade to Black & Hide and Don't Seek Challenge, the explosive doesn't breach the door anymore. I don't say redo them all, but i think it would be wise to revise the most crucial ones. :)

With each new Hitman that's come out, they've kept the old content but changed it up to keep it challenging, so yeah if you're playing this on Hitman 2 or Hitman 3 some stuff will always be a little different.
