I love how this game kinda just goes full "Yeah, we'll let that happen" with a lot of interactions. Most VR more or less pretends you don't make small mistakes, but this game is like "Yeah, you shoved that NPC so you shoved that NPC."

ya know i wonder if VR can help people like myself with social anxiety. i just never know wtf to say! im really shy but once im open im open. i talk about anything and everything lol. i can't afford VR to test my theory if it can help with social issues.

I suppose it could help people by giving them a controlled environment to interact, but it would take a lot of work to make it a consistent, testable therapy. Using something like VR chat which is chaos most of the time would not work well for testing your idea. Also we would have to keep in mind that there is a level of separation between yourself, your avatar, someone else's avatar, and themselves; so things like socially acceptable behavior and consequences for not adhering to it may hinder how effective VR is for therapeutic purposes.
