Hearing Hitomi say that her ex wouldn’t compliment her but would compliment his ex gf made me realise it doesn’t matter how gorgeous you are, if your partner isn’t complimenting you then it is not a reflection of your appearance, but a reflection of their behaviour 🤷‍♀️ because Hitomi is fire 🔥

Thank you for combining activism/feminism/awareness of social issues with spirituality. I find a lot of the times “spiritual” people will turn a blind eye to oppression and bigotry in the name of remaining “neutral” when in reality that’s the reason the bigotry has continued for as long as it has. Thich nhat hanh talked about the intersection of activism and spirituality as well. Your messages are so beautiful and well-expressed. This was much needed. Thank you so much.

Yes. This is why it’s important to follow queer spiritualists. I find they are more in touch with spirituality and how that works in an oppressive world.

1- Know who you are, write down a mission statement, cultivate who you want to be everyday 2- Commit to your healing, everything is happening form not to me 3- Witness your reaction, anger anxiety, with neutrality, be curious about your experiences and be kind to yourself, take care of yourself 4- confidence is not only owning the room and have your shit together 5- find things what makes you feel unstable and bring medicine to it 6- Voice your feelings even with others, you do not have to always be happy for others 7- Do not chase relationships 8- Turn off by disrespect 9- Jealousy means that you are not fulfilled in some area of your life, social media is only a highlight of people's lives, communicate with people 10- internalised patriarchy brings you to competition, insecurities, be aware of that 11- embodiment practices help

I’ve suffered from social anxiety for many years now, and i loved when you talked about the urge to hide your fear and insecurities in fear of being judged. I do that often, i don’t want to be seen as too “sensitive” to “stupid” things and i always say “i’m fine” and overcompensate my crippling anxiety by being loud and noisy, so much that i sometimes fear that nobody really knows me, bc i hide the most vulnerable parts of myself.

Thank you for sharing your insights and authenticity with us. I feel like I’m genuinely growing when I watch your videos. A lot of the things you say used to (and still do sometimes) trigger something in me. Not the sexuality subjects, more so spirituality and femininity relates things. There is sometimes a strong urge to roll my eyes and dismiss everything, or even to project and judge. I feel actively unsafe in those moments. But then I allow myself to believe you, I can see that you’re incredibly kind and are coming from a beautiful place, with beautiful intentions behind your actions and words, and so I make myself sit in the uncomfortable space and allow for it to expand something in me. I now realise that that expansion is actually healing, and that’s a magical thing. I don’t know If this makes any sense at all, but I just wanted to say thank you ✨ Sending you hugs 🤗

Curious about going deeper on "chasing". I agree with you, not to chase but to attract, in order to be in a better confident position for yourself. However, what happens to the person who is chasing you? Are you inadvertently making them shrink and feel small for coming towards you? How do you attract- while respecting another person's self-worth- without putting them in a lesser position in the relationship? If no one is chasing, how would attraction work? Just wondering if you have additional thoughts on this. PS. I appreciate your content for bringing up topics few are willing to discuss openly.
@TheDreamer1618
@TheDreamer1618 2 жыл бұрын
It might be something about meeting each other than chasing. The negative connotation of "chasing" is in pursuing someone or something that is actively fleeing or combative. I also think "seeking" may be a more positive approach. Chasing can sometimes connote reaching for something not meant for you or not embracing you, in the context of platonic and romantic relationships. Just some thoughts because i think this is a great question 😊

This! I needed this. It brought me right back to my center because you put words into everything I've been feeling. I know me and I know my path and it's not determined by anything external. I know I'm healing and I am ok with the fact that my confidence is still being built within myself and it has nothing to do with how people say they view me. Their projections are not my responsibility and I am in competition with no one. I am learning how to grow and become my own master. I don't need any external validation because that has always felt so fleeting and shallow for me to ride on that 'high' or 'low' because their experience of me is partially them feeling into my experience of me AND partially their own reflection of their own struggle to find purpose. As long as I meet all my feelings with a more observant perspective instead of a judgemental attachment to what is, I know I'm going to be able to return more quickly to my own center and source. I appreciate your KZbin so much and I am just so thankful for being given the gift of mentors like you.

It feels like a cloud lifted, yet I am still dealing with the old neuro networks created through that dark period in my life and with all of my love, compassion and effort, I am stoked to share I am healing and evolving into the kind being that I remember being, the one who celebrates other women for stepping fully into their unique radiance, the woman who is capable of loving and open to being loved, and so much more. Your have highlighted so much of what I am putting into practice and you've just confirmed that I am on a good medicine path

I’m glad I have found this sooner! I’m going to be a sophomore this year and I’ve been wanting to change my perspective on how to love myself and love myself more conditionally. I want to have the best version of myself and improve my mentality and this has help me so far! Thank you 🌺

Thank you sooo much Himoti. Your journey is amazing and I really learn to love myself, always put myself first and while not feeling bad about it. I used to fear negative emotions and mistakes a lot, but now I learn to trust the flow, explore, witness and even play with whatever it is. You are really amazing, and I’m so proud of you, thank you!❤
