I mean this interviewer is fantastic. In a short time, she got them both to reveal personal things I haven’t heard them say on this press tour. Bravo.

That's actually wild what Kieran said cuz I felt literally the exact way. During the movie, I started crying and feeling really emotional, but I was so confused why because movies don't usually bring me to tears, but I realized it reminded me of a childhood friend I used to have who was truly such a good person deep down, but he fell into the wrong company, and unfortunately, we're no longer really close. But I found it amazing how much I could directly relate to this film, just like Kieran did.

Olivia Marks for the win! Her preparation, questions, and delivery are so insightful, professional, yet still very fresh. Even both cast members reacted! As a producer, it can be so hard to toe that line. A particular pet peeve of mine is when producers and interviews blather on too much to set up a question. You gave context but then got right into it to let the guests speak. Brilliant job.

Jesse Eisenberg is incredibly relatable. A Real Pain was such a good film. The plot was pretty direct, but there were so many important and hidden details added to both Benji and David's characters. Like Benji's rubberband and the cloth he wore. I loved it for those little details that were added. It was a great piece on mental health and the many faces it can wear. This was one of my favorite films toward the end of 2024. Eisenberg did great for his directorial debut. I hope they release it on physical media.

I really wish I could put into words the genius that these two individuals bring together. Jesse Eisenberg is a great actor and a great writer, but he is also a genius of movie marketing. This is not the first movie that I get interested in because of how he approaches the press junket. I feel like both him and Kieran were half in-character for the whole press tour. Jesse also is a very good sport and has a great amount of self-deprecating humour which then allows for Kieran to be a bit wilder with his wit. It's fascinating to watch their dynamic. I watched the movie yesterday, and it was funny and delightful, yet there was something deeper there about grief and loss, and not just about death, but growing up and growing apart.

First of all, what a great interviewer. She always asks great questions. Now, about the 🎬, it was worth seeing, great chemistry between these two. The movie has some melancholy, but it's not "heavy." Restaurant scene and the last scene was very emotional. Congrats to Jesse for this amazing project.

Loved this interviewer. In this time when anti-semitism is on the dramatic rise (statistics bear me out if you're curious), it is a bit of a relief to hear her identify openly as Jewish. Looking forward to seeing this on the silver screen. Thanks Jesse and Kieran.
