I agree! Even a patch in one area then black or orange (on the green) cross cross stitching on the others. Either would add character to it!

I got to meet Anna Lee personally......she was one of my customers up in N.H .......My daughter has tons of her dolls we collected over the years

My family knew AnnaLee also. I have a few dolls that she gave me when she’d come to our house. I still have the Sun pin that we all got when my Brownie troupe toured the original building where they were made. My mom was our Brownie Leader. AnnaLee’s dolls faces look like her. I’m from that area of NH and I do not collect the dolls. I’m one of the many locals that think they are creepy 😂 I resell them though!

8:15 omg the little mickey and pinochhio silver plated vintage spoons! those sell really well too! i love all the disney stuff in that yard sale. I've been looking for those disney albums that were on the floor for so long 😭

Goodwill selection depends on the prosperity of the area. In small, hardscrabble towns, workers and families mine the GW to meet their needs + everyone is a part-time reseller. However, I have had consistent good luck with small-town thrift stores that support animal and health care charities. Church-based thrift stores can also be very good.

Funny, I made my comment before you went back to the crystal. I have the Swarovski star candle holder. You can get a very fine metal finger nail file and just slowly go over the chip. It will take any sharp edges off and even it out. I still show there is a chip. Give it a try and see when you have a piece with a chip, on crystal and glass. I do it a lot and don’t breathe in the glass dust when I do a lot of pieces. I get it a little wet to help with that.

For future reference: there were 2 red Creative Memories Mickey Mouse scrapbook albums at one of those 127 garage sales. They sell well for a good price on ebay.

That music box with the Hummel figures on them was made before 1989 when the Berlin Wall came down. I used to have a Christmas garland made from glass beads and foils balls stuffed with Japanese newspaper in them.

At 26.59, there is a great coral display piece. Coral is desirable and unfortunately is going to get more and more scarce. The trinket box is great, too.

The clear glass can be Swarovski. I have a lot of it big and small and it does not always look expensive and shinny like good crystal. Need to pick it up and look. Also, I have Waterford crystal that I bought for a few dollars, people walked right by it. It looks like really nice crystal.

My goodwills have the color of the week, but we don’t have set prices for specific items, it’s just all different prices depending on the item. Our prices are overall higher than your local ones 😔. Love seeing videos from your trip 😊

I would use iron on patches on those holes, maybe sew a little but not have to be neat because I would put the patches over it and also in other places to give it a scarecrow look. very cute!

You should've shown more of Willow. lol I love her! What a great Air bnb. My goodwills haven't had the bulk jewlery lots for many years. They use to sell them for ten and twenty dollars. The last one I seen was probably a yr or two ago and it was I think 80 bucks. They must be sending all their jewelry to shop goodwill online now. So many things I use to find like gaming things for my son, I don't find anymore. Obviously they have to be selling that stuff online because I know they get that stuff donated occasionally. I still find some decent buys but, nothing like I use to. My favorite thrift store is one we have that all proceeds go to the humane society. I will pay up there because I know the money is going to take care of the animals. That makes me feel good. :)

Thought I’d help you out just a little bit with some pronunciation. 😂. I have some family there and I’ve always heard it pronounced “Lou-golf”. That could very well be wrong but I’m almost 60yo and that’s how we pronounce it here in Rock Hill, SC. Love your shows! ❤

Color of the week at Goodwill is the only time I buy any clothing now unless it is really good. Also right now our local GW's have back to school sales with shoes on Wednesday's 1/2 off and clothes 1/2 off on Thursdays.

I live in Tennessee in the county that borders 4 of the counties the 127 goes thru. Do every year. S.every 5 years do the whole 127 but rest of time start in Dunlap and go thru Kentucky.

Emory cloth will take care of that little knick on the crystal, just rub very very carefully. lol, I gave my youngest my old old Alvin and the Chipmunks album back in 2022.

In rural WV our Goodwill never has color of the week discount stickers.. or I've never seen them. Our old Goodwill smelled like a moldy basement but thankfully moved to a better store. PS. Anyone know what pot charms are? TY.
