Hitting triples on the XR600R

Great day on the 600R today. I figured out how to lock the exposure on the GoPro. I'll make a separate video for that. I got some flexx bars on there to make the landing bearable on the triple. Subscribe and share!

My current motorcycle is an yzf1000r... full of cables and complicated shit... as heavy as a pig. Trying to sell it right now.... selling the xr600r was a huuuuuuuge mistake. Ps: two strokes with kick are super cool too!

Jumping a trail bike n motocross bike are completely different.. when I was younger my starter bike was an rt100.. once I got better I tried jumping longer distances I hurt my ankles on landing a big jump.. then my pops got me a yz80... much much better for jumping.

Great day on the 600R today. Decided to show up at a serious MX track and send the living shit out of an air-cooled 30 year old desert racer on stock suspension while still finding the time to casually wipe the camera lens as I pass everyone. Silencer held on with baling wire, don't really know or care what tires I am using, stock header, rusty footpegs. This guy is just awesome.

XR600R one of the finest motorcycles Honda ever built. I’ve had the pleasure of owning 4 of them!! Still ride my 600R in the woods on single tracks all the time. From single track, to Motocross, to BAJA. These bikes can do it all. Great vid, beauty of bike!

This is an extremely enjoyable watch! Raced an 88 XR200R in 1992 against a fleet of other novices on 125 two strokers and won.....it can be done! Its mostly rider. Sold my modern 4 stroke moto bike and recently purchased a 2020 KLX300R so I have that oldschool thumper style engine once again all these years later.

I remember the day I took my 86 XR 600 to Glen Helen and rode the main track. That was a brutal day. A few years later i built up a 2000 XR400 with a cr tank/shrouds/seat, gave the bike a diet and put a minimalistic baja designs dual sport kit on it. I'd ride it on the freeway from OC to Elsinore, ride the vet track and then back on the freeway to head home. Wasn't the best bike for the commute or the track, but sure was cool being able to do both.

I raced these in the 90's and they were a great bike to ride, a few little mods like removing the auto decomp, anti bog kit for the carb and a lighter exhaust to stop the sub fame snapping off and off you go. not stock suspension though as I was a bit heavy, could ride it to work and race it on the weekend awesome bike and memories. I never did the tripples though haha.

Respect man. Back in 1990 I had a 510TE Husy 4 stroke with all the good low weight stuff on it fast as hell and it takes a load of effort to pull off these jumps compared to the 2 strokes so pulling this off with a XR600R Respect man.

The motor sounds like it’s not even breaking a sweat. Had 2 XR 600 and an XR 650r loved them all but the XR 600 handled the best. I could go over anything with it. Rode all over Baja, was a blast

It's obvious that you have spent a few hours on that bike... that kind of smooth fluid control on a bike that has that much torque is not an overnight deal....now with that said the track is built for that bike . I love XRs... Honda Europe sells a brand new air cooled 450XR single exhaust pipe bike... It comes with everything our old XRs had that we loved but it is a bit updated as well.

Man this looks like an absolute blast! I should be in the market soon for a dirt bike and I had the time of my life riding around a field track I helped make with my buddies 98 xr400! I just saw a nice 96 xr600 and a 2002 xr400 for sale and am considering them. However, I love a two stroke and how simple they are! Have a shot at three bikes. 1. 2008 ktm 200xcw 2. 2001 ktm 250exc 3. 2006 Suzuki rm250. I'm a track guy at heart but know I'll be doing trails too. This gives me some hope that an old xr can also have fun at the track! Have no idea which bike I'll end up getting.

I sent a dr350 on the motocross track in Hawthorne Nevada and blew all the oil out the crank case overflow and welded my rings to the cylinder wall! Trying to get speed through the woops to clear the jumps on the track!

I used to have a CR500 and the low end torque was awesome not to mention the speed it had but after watching this man I really am liking everything I see about the 600. impressive my friend...didnt know XRs could do that! i'm a hardcore XR owner (have had my 98 XR400 since 1999, just got a second one and have a XR650R plated) so i love them. never even thought about taking any of them on a motocross track lol...i'd love to see the looks on those other guys faces when they see that thing flying the way you are! very cool! what suspension mods have you done?
