This was a great tutorial. I tried doing this on my own and made a complete mess of the parts. This video not only showed me how install the springs correctly, it allowed me to re-assemble my trigger pack from a mess of parts. The only thing missing was mentioning the grip screw that needs to be removed. Great work!

Good video but an updated version for the umarex model would be even better. Its a little harded to set everything back especially the first time.

After the installation I have a problem with a trigger reset. It "goes band" but once, so the rifle works as a bolt action now. Maybe the failure is on my side, not blaming the kit just yet, but I would truly appreciate an advice on what it can be. Thank you in advance!

So what about the grip screw attaching the action to the plastic housing?

My HK MP5 22 has some kind of bolt or retaining screw up inside the hand grip. I can't pull out the trigger group like you did yours. Plus I noticed yours didn't have the rubber piece on top of the trigger group just behind the hammer. So how do I get the trigger group out of the plastic housing with out damaging it?

Which spring is the sear spring and which is the trigger spring? They looks the same to me.. are they interchangeable?
@VictorMarines063 жыл бұрын
The website has this: "Please note: The trigger return spring & the match sear spring are the same spring used in both applications on the MP5 .22-A5 & MP5 .22 SD models." I wasn't sure what that meant until I saw this video. I take it as both springs are exactly the same, and it doesn't matter which one you use for what.

1:30 ".....internal assembly should come right out." Well.....mine didn't. I Tapped it with a plastic faced hammer.......nothing. I squirted some Teflon lubricant between the plastic and the metal, on both side and hit it with a dead blow hammer and it still hasn't moved. Afraid to hit it any harder as it appears to be a cast alloy and the only place to whack it is right where the rear push pin hole is. Any ideas, HKParts?

Bingo.........had time to search other videos and found one where the guy says the dude on the HK Parts video forgot to show himself removing the BOLT from in side the bottom of the pistol grip. #%@&

It will help reduce the trigger pull weight and smoothen and crisp it up. You can learn more in this product description: hkparts.net/product/match-trigger-upgrade-spring-kit-mp5-22-p17335.htm/

This is the possibly a very irrelevant assembly video, being outdated from latest(?) models which have a completely new/different plastic housing and trigger/safety mechanism. If y’all are going to continue selling this upgrade with no manual, you must update this video with the new trigger housing. This is absolutely infuriating as the safety switch mechanism is the biggest crux in getting it finished in reassembly.

Not trying to be offensive. However the person showing the disassemble is clearly not a trained professional and clearly does not realize that many people watching are even lest knowledgeable about tool safety than he is. Furthermore Is hard trust that the correct procedure is been follow when the person making the video doesn't now what the proper tool for disassembly of the firearm are. I am very surprised that a business like HKParts does not have Professional Firearms Tech to make this video and is taking a liability risk endorsing it. !Be safe or get a professional to do it for you! Wear safety glasses when you working with springs. Use the right size punch. Don't use any sharp blades. You will be adding more chances of cutting your self of ruining parts/finishes. What you going to spend buying the correct tools will always be cheaper and less painful than the medical bills.

David Borman if you're going to write out a long post about how unprofessional this disassembly was, at least point out what errors were made on the chosen tools or the way this firearm was disassembled. With the exception of the knife, the armorer used the right punches and tools. Kind of a waste of breath if you vaguely summarize your criticism.
