Fun fact regarding your Mr223: Your German MR223 A3, was build in Germany, shot by the proof house of Birmingham UK (BNP and the crown symbol) with the Cip symbol ("N" stands for Normal testing pressures, which are 130%) , and imported in Gambrills Maryland. Very strange, cause the UK isnt even part of the European union anymore.

Infinite amounts of spare barrels if you can afford the ammo is better than chrome lined in practical terms. But i understand why it isn't to those who want to be clone correct. But $4000 is a crime. Highway robbery. It's bad even from a company that thinks we suck and that hates us.

cool blasters. cant believe i just found ur channel,u got a new sub . also i think the gates u referred to r called a fence, atleast in the US. i dont know much about hk. i used a shorty 416d for work for a long time and its a nice rifle,im just not a fan though. i actually had 1 of the first 20 uppers they sent to us in 04. we got the lowers a few months later. they r already heavy out of the gate and when u add optics,light, atpial and suppressor they get real heavy. i used a law folder on mine cause we did a lot of low vis work and i needed a rifle round carbine so i had to use a law which adds 1 pound to the gun. now its real heavy. lol

I don't care about the ambi stuff, but will the oversized controls on the A4 fit the old A1? Bolt catch for example. Not sure if magazine release is different size. I'm sure the charging handles and safety levers are interchangeable - don't see why they wouldn't be. The other thing I'm really curious is if the non-detent takedown pins on the A4 are a direct swap into the A1 for toolless takedown.

my current understanding is the adjustable gas block will be offered at the hkusa webshop but there are some other issues in need of addressing when/if used on the A1s.....I have not had a chance to be fully educated on this gas block so can provide more info later

Real question, I have a kac sr15 which is a di gun and the Mr being a piston gun. I have the MR 762 a1 an a variety of HK pistols. Having the knights gun is having both redundant? Interested in your thoughts. Thanks.

Your comparing apples to oranges. The SR-15 is in 556 and the MR762 is in 308.

@ no I am not, I am asking if the Mr 5.56 is a gun to get if I have the sr 15. The sr 15 being a D I gun ,the 5.56 is a piston gun. Having both piston and di guns I no the difference. So the answer is no it would not be redundant since they work differently. The question was worded poorly.

@RocketPropelledGuy If you're in the market for a 416, chances are you likely have other guns with chrome lined barrels to shoot shitty ammo with. If it comes down to choosing between 1 moa accuracy and lifetime barrel warranty vs a chrom lined barrel in a 416, I'd go with unlined barrel all day every day.

@@zackalba442 Most other name brand rifles clone their duty rifles, like LMT, KAC, Colt, Daniel Defense, BCM. The only brand I know of that likes to water down their own rifles are HK. Their G36 is an SLR, their UMP is a USC. Even their iconic MP5s get some kind of corruption going on at their headquarters/ factory. If HK made a clone correct 416 and other government contract firearms, then I wouldn't be complaining about the price.

They're well known to keyhole around the 8-10k mark which is not a high round count. Get that barrel really hot and run it like how its supposed to and that crap ain't gonna last. Who wants to rely on a stupid warranty and deal with losing it in the mail or whatever other mishap could potentially happen. Warranty as a selling point sounds like a PSA firearm lol.
