@@Anonymous8421 I really don’t know why either. I had a vp40 too. The vp9 is like a scalpel but you change the same basic design to another caliber and it’s just not the same. The hk45 just seemed big. It was also the variant 7 lem. Ive had the p30l. It never functioned properly so I couldn’t really get good with it. The p2000 was like the serious underrated piece. I should’ve never traded it. I had it for years and it was so good i guess it got boring. I could pull and point shoot one round pretty consistently anywhere. It’s like ok. What more would i need to do.

@Sierra_Tango_518 күн бұрын
Nice. All the pluses: > Removed trigger-trough inside the trigger-guard (thank you Geezuhz!). > x2 More backstraps. > Improved trigger assembly. > Improved, flared magwell. > Recessed magazine floorplates for forced, manual magazine changes. > Textured paddle magazine release. The only negative (for me) is the removal of the subtle finger grooves. That said, I think they should have kept the top finger groove as a relief cut under the trigger-guard. The extended 20-round magazine needs to be a 22 24--rounder for that length. Otherwise, we need VP9 A1 framed Tacticals to market. A VP9K A1 with a shorter slide would be nice. And the more I think about it, removing the finger-grooves on the VP9, in particular, that "squeeze a bar of soap until it fits your hand" perfectly feel, is one of the benefits of the VP9. HK should have kept them IMHO, AND, gone to a chassis system.

H&K, I love you, but I feel I need to say this. The VP9 is great and I own several, some of these upgrades are good incremental upgrades for the main VP9 line. However, there's nothing here worth upgrading to a new frame for. If the longer frame one was a match version, with a comp, ported barrel, and an adjustable trigger, then MAYBE it would be interesting. I know Glock has the rights to the new Aimpoint optic mounting system that gets rid of the plates, but that would be an upgrade worth the money. Almost 50 years ago you designed a gas operated, fixed barrel, squeeze cocking pistol that people obsess over and pay obscene prices on the used market for to this day. Give us something like that. Make a match gun that puts the Laugo Alien to shame and looks good doing it. Make a defensive handgun that's designed to defeat all levels of soft armor. Let those German minds in Oberndorf loose on the stale pistol market.

The trigger on all 3 of them did not reset during rapid fire under stress sent them to hk nothing they were all ok according to hk . Okay I dropped the pistol on a small puddle of water and grit while transitioning back to rifle. Totally my fault I get it but the pistol was dead. I have seen canik pistol’s do better. Either way I went back to Glock but I do have a p30 that really outdid the Glock pistol in one class I took. If you go to the flat range and shoot I am sure it’s good to go but I do a lot of training not in the flat range (hobby) vp 9 not so good. I thought it will be a good idea to post something critical so HK can address it. I can’t be the only one.
