Are the trigger housings on the Zenith MP5 clones the same as those on original Factory HK machine guns (i.e is the push pin system the same as the original, or is it unique to the clones). Are the lowers cross compatible?

3 years later I shall answer your question. Yes they are the same. I have an MKE made MP5 and have personally confirmed it using original CETME and HK lower pins, as well as original surplus G3 and CETME housings to check for actual attachment compatibility. I even compared the pin bushing to an original HK bushing. MKE guns are made under license from HK on HK tooling. They take a factory full auto MP5 and simply weld on a small shelf to the receiver inline with the lower bushing and also add a full auto carrier block in the back of the receiver. They then machine a channel in the bolt carrier to allow it to clear the full auto carrier block and modify the trigger pack to be semi auto. MKEs MP5 are literally HKs made in Turkey. Think of it being like if you compared a Colt and FN M4 to each other. Same gun, different factory, same specs as far as parts compatibility.

@@TheRealJeff984 better late than never, as my Gramps used to say. So it seems the answer is both Yes and No. Yes they are the same, no they are not fully compatible (factory HK lower on US-civilian import MKE gun or vice versa) because of that little shelf?
@TheRealJeff9842 жыл бұрын
@@Laotzu.Goldbug Basically. Its an easy modification to do though. The little shelf for the lower is purely for preventing a full auto trigger pack from being installed unlike the typical full shelf receivers that actually index and support the lower.

can you use the bianary trigger with push pin housing on a pof
@wokndedfan4132 жыл бұрын
So, I can go either way on my new POF? I EForm 1’d my POF PK, and I might have to buy another lower for stock options. I’ve read that a lot of stocks from HK Parts won’t fit over POF’s receivers.

They welded a sear block in place to make it legal.

if you have a front push pin, you also need the autosear trip blocker welded into the back of the receiver. This also needs to be done at "time of manufacture" - meaning you can't modify your existing pre-built MP5.

I’m looking at getting a metal lower for my HK91 to replace the Navy plastic lower. The SEF doesn’t have the 2 pin holes on the tail how do I about installing those so my stock doesn’t shoot off from recoil and possibly hurting me

If you have an upper with a shelf, what is the legal way to mate it to a pushpin lower? Just drill the pushpin hole? or.. Install carrier block then drill a hole? Thanks
