HKS BOV MAZDASPEED 3 INSTALLATION !!!

In this video , I share my experience on how to install HKS Blow Off Valve on my Mazdaspeed 3. Installation Requires tuning prior installation so please be advised using a Cobb Tuning Device. This is not an official "how to" installation video , this is just me trying to have fun and share my thoughts on how this bov works . More like a review of the product itself. The quality of the product is absolutely amazing and the sound is beyond my expectation. I hope you guys like it and thank you for watching.

Yessir got the same one on my gen 2 got it in full recirculation with a fmic and the jbr re circ hose fits perfectly and gets the stutititu when low boost and a nice peow when boosting hard sounds different to the common in New Zealand gfb response most people go with

Sounds so good, im doing mine today. Can't wait. I had a question about your radio. Did u have to buy the whole new dash bezel to put an aftermarket radio.

That’s awesome to hear ! The radio I got it from Eonon website. You just buy the radio and replace the old one. No you don’t replace the whole dash bezel.

@@Meanmachine.ms3 does it make the car feel laggy compared to BPV? And I assume the car runs rich between shifts with VTA right?

The car runs normal since I have a tune specifically for the BOV . So if you try to run it without a tune , it may give some hesitation since the computer is trying to relearn the amount of air to push to the engine if I'm not mistaken .

Had this BOV in my Supra, so I wanted one for my Speed3, but I couldn't recirculate it without cutting major stuff, even with the official kit. If I rotated it, the vacuum hose would kink and hit the hood. I've since gone with a corksport dual BPV 👍🏼

Yeah I’ve seen some Mazdaspeed owners having their BOV line being bent when they switch it to BPV . So that’s the reason why I only want this HKS to be BOV & I can switch it to another brand if I ever want to go BPV in the future . 🙏

I have a CorkSport BPV on my ‘13 Black Speed3. Just got the TurboSmart 50/50 recirc. Was thinking of getting this one and trying it out but was afraid of getting a fake one.

I love the Turbosmart 50/50 . It is also a great product to have it both BPV & BOV. If you are interested in purchasing the HKS in the future, I bought mines from Throtl website for a good deal. And going for a fake or cheap alternative doesn’t compare to the real deal.

When running a BOV , you’ll need to have a tune since the air is not recirculating like BPV and thus confusing the ECU how much air it needs to go to the engine .
