Sounds and looks amazing. This is exactly what I'm looking for on my 2012 fit sport, just a sound upgrade... For me everything else is already perfect. If I bought one of these and took it to a muffler shop, what would be a fair price for them to install it for me?

It’s a very easy install, I wouldn’t expect more that 50-80 bucks depending on your area.

Nah, we still have the stock axle back for ours, even the stock radio, the only thing I think we don’t have is the stock wheels anymore.

The axle back didn’t really affect fuel consumption at all.

No, it’s just an axle back, no tuning required. 👍

I had this on my fit but had to go back to stock because it wouldn’t fit with my new rear mugen bumper. now my fit is too quiet, I miss the the hks exhaust, it wasn’t too loud, just right for me 😅

Good to know, because we were thinking about finding a mugen rear. But if it doesn’t fit, maybe not.

Did it give you a hard time removing the donut gasket on the stock muffler? As i see it, it seems stuck on your vid. Could it just be pulled by hand bro?

It’s been a minute since we installed the exhaust but if I remember correctly the donut was stuck, I’m sure it woudlve come off with a little persuasion, but the oem one was in good enough shape to reuse, so I remember reusing it, and we haven’t had any exhaust leaks with it so far. 👍

i did this with mine. just not quite loud enough for me. but no muffler is too loud so idk.

I’m right there with you, like I think it sounds good, but it’s definitely quiet most of the time. I believe HKS also sells a mid pipe for it, which would help greatly imo, because there’s another muffler/resonator near the side of the car, and I think that’s the issue.

We didn’t set the height based on inches, so it’s hard to say unless you have a fit directly next to it at stock height. If I had to take a guess I’d say about 2.5 inches?
