I just bought a pre loved favorite in the Damier azur print. Loving the pre loved market. I bought the monogram favorite brand new when it first came out. It’s my only new item that I have.

I regretted that I only started buying LV last year when we were in Europe😔. All these years I bought a lot of contemporary but I end up selling/gifting most of it and I tried to calculate the amount I spent I could have bought a few LVs. Now with the frequent price increase I have to bit the bullet paying US prices to a few more items in my wishlist that I didn't get last year. I heard about the price harmonization which Chanel already did so there's no point waiting to travel to Europe for a good deal on lux.

I feel like the only contemporary brand I would pay full price is Longchamp. Anything else it better be on a good sale. I felt the same way with adding it all up to pay for one LV bag. I rather have quality over quantity.

Well if it makes you feel better i only have one LV bag and it was a christmas gift from my husband 2 years ago, i do regret not buying any LV years ago when it was cheaper but at the same time i realize that these bags are going to be around whenever im ready to add more, and if it price increases there’s always the preloved choice

Awww this is so fun to watch! My first bag was a speedy B30 in Damier Ebene and i sold it to fund and get size 25. Regretted it and bought the My world tour speedy B30 in Monogram/Dark Treated Leather. I bought 5 bags from LV last month and i need to be stopped! Where i live you can go to the mall and see 20 with Neverfull’s 🤣 but that only means it’s a great bag! I too hope i can get my hands on a Chanel but i cant decide between a black or a pink color. First world problems! 🤣

I 100% agree with you about buying contemporary, I love Tory Burch but I have bought bags that were trendy styles and regretted buying them. Guess who lost money when they sold them? ✋ even though Tory has has there one price increase, resale value is still low. I still love Tory Burch, but I will ONLY buy bags from that brand and other contemporary brands that I know I want to keep forever. SN: I’m currently on an LV and I just want to buy everything before the price increase!

I really like tory burch as well. I try to get them on sale. Full price I just don't think they are worth it. The LV price increase in just a couple years is crazy how some things have doubled in price. I almost feel like I should add a few more pieces before it gets too high.
