This is so helpful! I am a laser file designer and always struggle with 3D items. I have to test cut, fix, cut, fix and so on…This will save a lot of wasted material! Thanks so much!

That is awesome! I chuckle though because even after I test assemble I end up still having to re-design. :-) Someday I’m sure I’ll get it right of the first drive while I’m Juggling teaching the family and KZbin videos. I always make mistakes :-)

Great video!! You are, by far, the most informative person to learn tinkercad from. Thank you for you! 1. I am not sure if I missed a video about it but I am looking for a way to add a chamfer or softened edge to a shape that is imported and not modifiable as if built in TinkerCard. I know you can add a radius with the slider on some shapes but that does not always work (only wanting one part radiused, not the whole object) 2. How do make rounded corners and/or outside holes?

Thank you for the kind words. One of my favorite ways to round things is to create a curved mold to cut the item... for me, the hole and the colour of the box keep mixing, and when I try to group them both, it does not work

When you say print... Are you talking on paper? or with a 3D printer?

​@@HLModTech Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to help me. I made an object in Tinkercad and I was trying to export the file to Pepakura to print on paper in 2D to cut and paste the parts . I can't open the file after I export it to my computer. I changed the default program to gimp and it is not working. :(

@@SALO-nl3ih I was able to successfully open one of my STL files with it. It is odd though. I felt like I should be "importing", but I just opened the STL and then clicked a few dialog boxes till I had my design. Interesting tool.
