HM Vorkath Melee - no blood reaver (for PVME)

Just a quick Vorkath vod for the RuneScape PVME discord feat role - Medieval Fantasy:
"Defeat Vorkath in a hardmode encounter using only melee & no Blood reaver"
I don't know if that means don't bring any off-style stuff, so I left my rune pouches and nexus back at the bank. (Also totally forgot to load some armor spikes in the preset)
Well ... so I'll just try and go back to a pack yak instead of the blood reaver and prisms.
Meanwhile, the Vorkath fight still feels quite overwhelming after coming back to try it out with the post beta combat changes. I haven't been back in a while and it was pretty funny to see how much the raised hit cap changed the fight compared to the last time meleeing.
Very rough kill where I brute force spam my food & brew keybinds.
Also want to point out that A LOT of ring of death & tele-ing to wars retreat happened prior
(not exactly playing safely when just testing to see how fast a run can go with some luck)

Interesting to see Zemouregal be damaged in phase 3 without killing Vorkath.

Zemouregal's damage immunity is changed into a damage reduction once Vorkath breathes fire onto him, think it's initially 90% and goes down the further the fight goes

I haven't really looked at it in detail - I just assumed that after phase 3 starts with the Vorkath dragonbreath - his shield has significant damage reduction instead of Zemouregal being completely immune - allowing some chipping away at his hp. Zemouregal's shield temporarily drops every time Vorkath goes to fly away for his arena wide dragon breath, but after returning/getting shot down by the ballista, the shield comes back.

This method is more of pre-beta changes where I think melee would probably take longer to defeat both Vorkath and Zemouregal in the time it takes for Vorkath to fly a second time - so a "2-cycle" flight where bursting down Zemouregal with berserk in the short shield-less windows would be potentially faster. It was just fun to revisit the strategy. Post-beta changes, I'm not sure - it might be plausible to beat em both faster with the hit cap raises (would need to come back to it at another time - I didn't even swap an undead slayer perk back onto my armor for these attempts)

Offstyle are things that force you to equip other style weapons so nexus+pouches shouldn't be offstyle. Tsunami, hydrix-grico, sgb, those things are offstyle pre-build or not.

Yes, in a general context of style camp that sounds about right - which I do assume use of spells/prisms/ingen spells/incantations. I was just being a bit technical when it stated "only melee" which perhaps sounded more restrictive than usual.
