HMCS Calgary is a helicopter carrying, guided-missile patrol frigate. She’s equipped with anti-submarine, anti-surface and anti-air warfare weapons, sensors and defences. Combined with state of the art damage control and machinery control systems, this frigate is one of the most advanced warship designs in the world.
A powerful naval task group has sailed east from ports in Canada to one of the most lawless maritime regions in the world: the Persian Gulf.
