Nice upload, thank ya !! I've recently copped the Flyhawk version of HMS AGINCOURT. (Deluxe version & separate wood deck laminate) I love this stuff; get lost in it sometimes !! Add in reference material- ship's monographs/line drawings ? Look out.....8 month long build- easily. Because I will scratch build missing bollards, deck ventilators, ect. Yeah, a mental exam may be in my future !!.... 🚬😎👍

Lovely work Pete on an unusual kit company example (for me). These are lovely classic pieces of engineering history. A good example of compromise - a big hitter with more big heavy guns = less armour plate. In such cases you need to get good first hits in. The same applied to the US Easy Eight Sherman tank - upgunned from the previous 75mm meant no more armour - it's known weakness but the 76mm longer gun could kill Panthers and Tigers but they couldn't increas ethe weight so still the lighter armour meant they were vulnerable - another compromise. Again your attention to detail is impressive and I think the deck rail and the rigging is in keeping with the scale. 1/700th is right up there in modelling skill levels. I see what you mean by minimal instructions too. It is a big contrast when my recent modelling involves booklet-style instructions. Looking forward to the Ajax.

Hi Gordon Many thanks for the message. Despite it's various weaknesses the kit built well and I've already started on the Ajax. Another few weeks! Best regards Peter F

I am waiting for more 1:350 plastic pre drednought, hope some company will fill this nieche. Recently many missing ww2 ships were released or announced and also some ww1 ships but mostly in 1:700. At this pace soon they might run out of ships and might turn toward pre drednoughts.

Hi Robert Thanks for the comments. I recently completed their HMS Ajax (dreadnought, not the cruiser) which I'll be doing a video on soon. It's a good kit but the packaging and instructions are both poor, as usual!
