I'm 60 yrs old now, but I still remember being a 7 yr old laughing at the people bent over so they didn't bash their heads on the low beams onboard the Victory, very nice build brings back memories to an old man now living in Australia 👍🦘😎

Very nice and neat paint job. I liked your idea to use Epoxy putty. Also it’s such a relaxing/calming video. I’m looking forward to see her become a tall ship next :-)

good idea John using the putty. I am going to use this system in my second build, i am sure you wouldn't mind!. In my first build i glued a small thin stroke of wood behind the figurehead and glued the crown on it with superglue. I haven't glued it at it's position yet. I heve to say that the Woody model parts give it extra "cachette" so to speak.

It’s Hi Ron, that’s why I post my videos. So hopefully anyone can think I will give that a try. And with using the putty, it gives you time to position the figurehead before it sets rock hard

Where find figurehead victory

Good morning, I am from Spain and I am starting the VICTORy 1/84 of Latin crafts, which must be the same as Planeta agostini. First of all, congratulate you on how happy you must be for all your work. On the other hand, I would like to ask you if the figurehead is the one in the kit or you can purchase one of better quality than the one that comes with the Artesanía Latina kit. Thanks in advance

Thank you, I used the figurehead that’s was shipped with the kit, but better quality 3d printed figureheads can be purchased from shapeways in any scale

Small mistake: it seems to me that the British royal motto is DIEU EST MON DROIT .
