Sehr detaillierte und realistische Landschaftsgestaltung mit tollen Szene ausgemalt. Eine wunderschöne Showbühne für die langen interessanten Züge der BNSF/UP Railroad..... Selten so eine Geniale Anlage gesehen. Riesen Kompliment! LG.Achim

It is amazing. In my opinion you are the Joseph Brandl in Usa version. The level is unbeaten. Congratulations!!! Ive Just started using your modeling rocks method. Best regards from Madrid.

looks great. them auto racks get pretty close to the side of the tunnel portal. wonder if a shnobel car can make that turn thanks for sharing

Thank you! The thing is, that this is a question of the perspective of the camera...- There is enough space even for shnobel cars...

Can you tell me the code of roadbed you used?
@BNSFUPRailroader4 жыл бұрын
daniele p I use Peco streamline code 83 flex tracks. The road bed is made of a kind of foam and it‘s height is about 0,28 inches.
@danielep-yz5hi4 жыл бұрын
@@BNSFUPRailroader thanks for answer me. where I can find this foam.
@BNSFUPRailroader4 жыл бұрын
daniele p You can buy the foam in every DYS shop in your home town. The foam is made to reduce the sound people are making while walking on a wooden floor...

Great modeling ! How did you make this high roadbed ? What materials did you use to achieve this wonderful realisme ? I've seen your tutorials making rock faces - excellent work ! So please could you 'show' us how you build the track ? You're RR is really 'Outstanding'. Congratulations !!

Thank you so much once again ;-) Oh - ok...the tracks are laying on a 0,7mm (perhaps 0.27 inch) high foambed. The foambed has the exact width as the rails laying on top of it. I glue thick drinking straws (from MC Donalds) direktly on the side of the foambed - than I glue more thinner ones right beside. The result is, that I have the exact width of modern mainline roadbeds and a kind of foundation with the right slope for the ballast (I use woodland scenic ballast)... My curves are all superelevated - I glue stripes of styrene (0,03 inches high) on top the foam so that the ties of the outside rail will lay on it later... So, I will make a tutorial about that but I think I need more time to do this. First I will make an update of the scenery of my tunnel district of my so called Tehachapi Pass... So thank you once again, Greetings from Deutschland, Volker

Your consist is technically impossible as SD70m's do not have DPU capability (not sure about the SD90) So you should place a GEVO or SD70Ace, Ac4400, c44-9w etc at the front and in the mid train consist. You need one DPU capable loco in each part of the consist. Hope this helps
