When i made mine i used Intermountain trucks they pickup from both sides so you end up with all wheel pickup.

Any chance of making the lights flicker with out DCC control ????

All our boards have two Auto-On features and those settings includes whether the lights flicker or blink (for the rear LED). One setting is With DCC active and the other one overrides DCC and turns on automatically. (We did think of that - Thanks!)
