:) I was clicking in to ask that too! I have a feel for how much you’ve done and I’d love to be able to see all your hard work in one go! I’m super impressed by the clearing you’ve done and also the grouping you’ve got going on - empties, sentimental, yard sale, Christmas. For someone who thinks she can’t organise there’s little snippets every episode that tell us you’ve totally got this! :)

A domestic. Violence shelter would benefit from donations of baby clothes, (old or new), women's clothing any body wash and or kids toys. Not to take away from other donation causes, but people fleeing from home leave with nothing. If that baby tub doesn't sell it will be thrown away. At a women's shelter it would definitely get used. You have such a lovely spirit to want to help others! Thank you for your videos! ❤ PS no guilt on the donations.... just wanted others to know that community resources are needed desperately. Blessings

Great declutter! You rarely show the whole basement, it usually feels just a bit cluttered, but now I understand why. Just seeing the massive scale of the whole thing is so overwhelming. It really is smart how you are focusing on just a basic frame before and after, and hacking away at it slowly. I’m looking at my to do list today and getting paralyzed and major anxiety... but I think I need to break it down into baby steps like you have, narrow my list and keep little blinders on. Thanks for sharing as always. Love seeing your progress. 💜✨

❤️❤️all the hearts to you!! You are the most wonderful human being, your genuine advice and genuine healing are sending ripples out into the world. I never thought of myself as having a “hoarding” issue but that was just my self denial at work. I hoarded a few craft supplies and just recently de cluttered a great deal.....with your loving affirmations ringing in my ears, I managed to let go of so much. I feel so much lighter in my heart and it’s thanks to you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi, it's looking great! Are you motivated at all to organize totes into like piles? The way you put all of hubby's stuff in one place. Maybe one spot for sentimental, one spot for crafts, one spot for baby stuff, one of empties (!!!). You already did a great job stacking the yard sale stuff together.

Aww, I wanted to hug you, when I heard you first sight and then say out loud you will give away the child bathing tub! I can imagine how much that means to you! And I wanted to jump up from happiness when saw the empty box. And it is a huge one! That shows how far you are in the process. You start finding empty boxes! And big ones! Would you believe that? How cool is that! You are incredibly strong. And have no idea how much you help others both understand a hoarder's mind and those who suffer from this to see it is possible and doable to heal. Big big hugs to you, Mrs. Heart! Keep going! Awaiting the day we will all celebrate Your completed journey! :)

I’m beyond excited about the Xmas konmari!!! You can make huge headway’s with letting go and making lots in FB and selling Xmas. As for the Dalmatians, I know you have more boxes from before. I think konmari’ing them all together would be best. Give your self a bucket to keep Then put a giant lot on eBay and sell the ones you don’t want. Love you gal. You are doing amazing

Oh my lord - you are truely nailing this! I totally understand the mental fatigue with paper. To get through that whole box in one session is amazing! It just occurs to me that with all the comments regarding selling bits and pieces... now that you’ve gotten rid of the Discover card debt... maybe you could start a sinking fund and put a portion of the money from selling bits and pieces in there towards the basement redecorating... or even towards a special cabinet to display all your treasures once you’re done. A “little” treat to work towards as well as the mental space ;)

Wow! What a powerful decision about the dalmatian box! Way to go! Thank you for your beautiful encouraging words! This weekend I worked to make a secondary office in the basement. There is nothing so motivating as needing to reconfigure the space for a different purpose. We plowed through for 5 hours and regained half a room! Similar to your sentimental feelings, we feel so hesitant to let go of paperwork, because of experience. Sometimes, yes, I need a paper that is 25 to 40 years old to prove something. Like you say, paper is just draining. I think the most difficult part for me is to set up the categories of keep and toss. Once those categories are set, it's easier to just put each paper where it belongs.

Girl all your vintage items would sell like hotcakes on ebay! All those dalmations ect would bring you a nice amount of cash! Maybe when you finally go through sentimental you can look things up on ebay and maybe that will help you let go because you can see how much cash they will bring. Also over the winter i would go through your garage sale bins and put them on marketplace. You can sell things for higher amounts and sell more

Congratulations on another purge! I think the most touching part of your journey is that you are making the decision to embrace your present and the life your family is living in the present, and not having to hold onto the past for comfort. The more you love the way your boys are now, the less you are having to cling to your memories of them as babies and toddlers. It is sweet to see, and you are so good to think of sharing things with other mothers and children who are at that stage in life. You have made amazing progress!

Just wanted to let you know how proud I am of my husband. As I said earlier he just recently gave me the all clear to do a massive declutter. I started in our room that was in the worst shape, the library. He and I (and our kids) love reading. And we have so many books. But we don't read them very often because we have e-readers. But I still knew he would have a hard time with so many books going out. And yes occasionally he'd see a book and ask me about it. But once I'd go through my reasons for getting rid of it. Every time he agreed with me! Now all our books actually fit on all our bookshelves and in that room. So that has been a nice big start for us. Next I'm doing the living room. Wish me luck!

Me and my sister had very similar care bear and my little pony mugs in the 80s :) Paper is the worst, you have to touch so many items that are in a very small space and it takes so long! It feels like it takes forever and so much brain power for not much reward. I know most people would say to just chuck the whole box but I need to go through each piece individually or I'll worry I've thrown out something sentimental. Normally I do throw out 99% of old paper but having to check it all first is the only way I can. I imagine you are the same and need to double check each piece just in case!
