I’m not sure if you have heard this one, but it is something that really helps me sometimes when I’m decluttering. I think when it comes to the baby sentimental items, ask yourself if when the time comes to needing it are you going to choose that item or are you going to want to purchase something new. A lot of the time my answer is that I probably wouldn’t choose that item. Your decluttering muscles have become very strong! It’s so amazing to watch you grow. You are so inspirational!

Omg the VHS! I remember you finding a big box of VHS some time ago and decided to keep it all because you loved the movies end then also had to keep the gigantic TV because that was the only way to watch it. I had to pause your channel for some time after that, just couldn't handle watching someone keeping that stuff haha. I came back and somehow you crossed the invisible unicorn line and were decluttering like crazy! Seeing you just letting go of those tapes says alot! My god you are on a roll!

this episode was extremely satisfying -- amazing job!! yes it was mostly trash but i totally understand the need to keep plastic bags and boxes for "just incase" or bc a bag is from a cute store (like the disney one). i cannot wait until you are healed enough in your heart to let go of the rocking chair/other baby stuff to a new mama :)

Good for you! My father's hoarding has made the basement impossible to maneuver in I haven't seen it in years. All I know is my mother constantly struggles to keep a "goat path" to the laundry machines. Every time they have a problem with the furnace, water heater, electricity, etc. It is a struggle to clear the clutter so they can get to the machine because my dad can't let go. It is important to keep those clear. Also, you cleared up a fire/tripping hazard. I myself don't use swiffers it's wasteful just more stuff for the landfill/incinerator. To reach high places I rubber band an old towel over my broom bristles and dust the walls and ceilings.
