Thanks Zach! Yeah that film is how I was first introduced to the Hobbit before reading it, the first ten minutes of that film still gives me chills. I enjoyed the live action version but I feel like this film captures the darker tone of the book.

We just listened to the Hobbit Audio Book and watched a fan edit of the Martin Freeman movie (a fan edit that actually followed the book). It was a magical journey and then hearing this just made our day. Thanks for doing this Wes. We'd love to hear all the songs from the book!

@wes tank Ok, so this was the weekend favorite. We played it in the BIG VAN, OVER THE RIVER. TO IOWA, FROM NEBRASKA. - this weekend we watched the sequel to the Hobbit from Rankin Bass the return of the king. I'm sure there is some material for you in there. I loved how the elf guy has the sparkly planet headband. I lived in Nebraska from ages 1-5 and I can remember some long drives to grandmas house or to the Badlands playing with my Ghostbuster toys in the back of my dad’s red Camero. I also remember tumbleweeds and Car Henge!

This is so amazing and deserves to go viral Wes. I'm thinking the title could use a tweak. From looking at the thumbnail and title, the only indication to a new viewer that its a rap is the play on "Straight Outta Compton" - I think the title could be something more clear like "A Hobbit Rap" or maybe something about rap in the thumbnail
