They have some great selections of yarn. Mr B said it best, having a yarn addiction is better than having an addiction to anything else. I am teaching my daughters the benefit of creating something with yarns. A skein of yarn can make and design any garment, and it's amazing what everyone can do!

Hobby Lobby has all their yarn 30% off every other week, with the week between, they have 30% off their embroidery and crochet threads..... I schedule my trips to Lobby Hobby for the week that they have the yarn on sale.

Hi there Crystal, like the looks of some of those yarns. If you want to add sparkle to yarn I use sewing lurex or filament from cross stitch thread. You can either wind it up together before you start project, or just crochet together as you go. Sometimes I use regular crochet cotton too,it seems to stop stretching as well. Just nutty ideas that I’ve tried and it worked out. Best wishes to all. Ros

Crystal, the nice thing about going to different hobby stores is that they carry different yarn labels. That can be very inspirational for you. There is nothing wrong with having choices!! I'm working on a shawl made with the Yarn Bee Dazzling in the color Tortoise Shell. The color is stunning! The color changes are pretty gradual and it's easy to work with and most importantly for a newbie like myself, it frogs well!

I love Hobby Lobby and their yarn. I do not shop here enough. I am glad they opened one close to you. I wish there was one closer to me. The closest is 45 mins away...across from the Wal-Mart I was working at. I usually shop at Michaels because it is about 20 mins away. I like the yarn where I work but do not make enough to buy any right now at Joann which is an hour away from home. The Wal-Mart nearest me does not have as much yarn as they used to. I am expecting them to stick up very soon. I can not believe how bare their shelves have gotten. Thank you for showing us your brand new Hobby Lobby! ☺😍😎 Thank you, Eric, for helping by filming!

That was fun! I personally love Hobby Lobby. I just feel no one compares to the selection they have. My Hobby Lobby is quite a few years old and the shelves are exactly like how you showed in video! I like that too. I always watch for the 30% off then I believe the selection of yarn and quality off sets the higher prices.
