I had a few wild thoughts today. So as a trucker one of the greatest gifts a manufacturer can give you is a tighter turning circle. And I've been stuffing brass shims and rubber buffers in the front axle and spring hangers trying to squeeze out the slop without freezing the flex. That's when I finally noticed, Tamiya went and hung the leaf springs *outside* the frame rails, but you can easily flip the hanger assemblies to move the springs underneath the frame. It means a lot of cutting and grinding and drilling and tapping, and relocating the shock hangers from the back of the axle to the top, and also taking out the first web between the arms of the knuckle mount But that would clear out maybe a quarter inch of space the tire could swing through. I dunno if it would work for the euro trucks with their sidewinder steering linkage, but then again euro trucks are weird anyhow.

Hey Bob, great instructional video on the assembly of the Aeromax. Curious about how to paint the frame and cross members of the chassis
@HobbyconceptsLLC9 ай бұрын
I just paint them the same way as the body. Tamiya primer and paint.

Great video Bob. I had A Aeromax way back in 2003. Sold it though. It really isn't that good looking of a truck. Tamiya needs to do some more american trucks styles.

Hello Bob, I want to purchase a transmitter, which one should I buy. The carson 14 transmitter or the flysky ft8. It is for my truck King hauler with mfc03. Greetings Bert

I wish tamiya would get out of the 1980's when you used stick packs. It's 2023 we use flat sided LiPo batteries today. Battery trays need to be flat not curved.
