Thank you for this video! I'm new to the hobby and ordered a new transmitter or whatever the remote is called and didn't realize it had the combo in it. So I've scouted KZbin as to what to do and found this video so thanks!!!

No problem and welcome to the hobby ofcourse! This ESC (speed controller) with integrated Receiver in cars, is generally you see in cheaper Chinese cars.. but well.. regretably name-brand cars sometimes also have this "feature" these days :)

You can use hobbywing 1080 program card to setting this spectrum esc, more cheaper and usefull, better than buy new esc and receiver set, and for that servo you must adjust first to use that rc, its easy just bind first for epa, low risk for broke that servo..many people dont understand this product

Thanks brother! I'll tell you someting "funny": when I used to build a lot of airplanes a was a Hobbywing advocate (they were pretty new back then).. Rock solid ESC's :) Nothing really changed I guess ;) Cheers bro :) have a good / safe week over there

Hey DRC! Nice upgrade for sure but I'm disappointed in the ESC receiver 2 in 1 combo, something like that expensive would come with that type of electronics. oh well. Truck like this deserves better than that reverse it had from stock. Looks good for sure with the demo driving. Have a great weekend!

Howdy brother :) yeahhhh same here! We know these kinds of setups from low-cost Chinese RC's right... In budget RC's it's probably more a costs-saving thing which I am o.k. with... With Axial is it s vendor lock-in though.. Which I'm not on board with... With that said... it's just toys :P Cheers and have a great weekend sir :)

Did you reprogram the Stock Esc with programched…????? 1080 HobbyWing program card is the same as This spectrum…. Then it drives like a new crawler😃

yeah I did the "recommended" setup changes but I will say: even stock it's a nice running ESC :)

I still use the stock gearing in this car
