This video shows a non destructive modification we did to the installation of a Hobie Tandem Island spinnaker. This will help alleviate the friction caused by the standard installation.

Super great video looks like you ran into all the same problems that I did and I liked a lot of your Solutions I have a few of my own I decided to just build a traveler to be able to adjust my sheet in and out the aka I'm hopefully going to have time to put a video together on my installation I love the fact that Hobie's written instructions and their video instructions don't match. The last time I had to redesign a Hobie Spinnaker system was with the Hobie 21 for the ultimate Yacht Race back in the late 80s and that's vinegar system was in fact more poorly designed than this one. I think I've got a fairly nice take on it I actually do run everything from the back of the boat and having the traveler makes it pretty easy to move the low friction ring In-N-Out depending upon what point of sail I am on. And I super don't like the little posts screwed into the office particularly out by the corner because you don't have to be an engineer to know screwing into the side of that corner makes spot. And the whole installation could have been done with only 4 which would be the ones for the swivel cams cams And for the recovery block on the AKA in the middle is a ronstan cheek block which is a great block when you use it for what it was intended for it was never intended to have a wine lead 180° around it in that way.
