I'm sharing how I've set up my 2021 Hobonichi Weeks planner as a fitness and health journal. I hope it gives you ideas if you're trying to set one up yourself.

Can I ask a curious question? Where your tracking your mood, is that just the natural fluctuations of your inner moods - like hormones or other things from within? Or would you also count when you feel upset by something that happens or something someone does or says?

I am personally tracking my more prominent mood for the day. Your average day is going to often have fluctuations. Very few people are on cloud 9 for an entire day, but we can often be mostly sad some days when life throws us challenges. I just average out where I was most of the day and track that unless there was an extreme high or low for even a portion of the day. I’m tracking this way because I am mostly interested in the highs and lows vs the mid points. How often is my mood dipping really low? Is that because I lost my dad 6 months ago? Because I’m trying to navigate a relationship through a pandemic and it’s proving difficult? Cycle related? I can compare my chart to other trackers or my journal to know more about the why I had a really good or bad day. I hope this helps. 🤞🏻💕

I did it for a few months and fell off. Skipped a few months and then changed how I used it. I’m liking where I’m at with it now and I plan to bring back the charts/graphs next month. The book has become my every day catch all for everything instead of just health.

Great ideas! I am using an A6 Hobonichi for my health tracker. I like the idea of using the "My 100" page for encouragement. Mind if I borrow that idea?
