Here’s one advantage to having two of these solar inputs… as we all know we don’t get the best Results if we mix like a 100 watt panel with a 200 watt panel. In series or parallel. However with this unit we could get the best Results by plugging in one 100 watt panel to one plug, and the 200 watt panel on the other plug!

TLDR version, I bought the dp3 because of you. Hit by hurricane, power out 5 days, great having it kept everything running, thanks for your vids👍 Long version, Hey professor. I want to thank you for making great reviews. I've been watching you for over a few months and I liked your delta pro 3 video and purchased one for my stealth camper van 2006 Econoline e350's power system instead of building one with victron products and batteries. I chose ecoflow because I can also use it for hurricane survival and a van power station 2 in 1. I'm in SC and we were hit with 70mph winds and several downed trees and our power just came back on after 5 days. The 240v outlet on the dp3 sold me and I tied it into my houses breaker box. I was able to run every light, fan, modem for internet and fridge without 15 extension cords. I even ran a 1300w air conditioner in my master bedroom. The heat here was around 90s and night time with the humidity was in the 80s. I ran everything except my houses hvac, oven, water heater and dryer. The dp3 was awesome. I charged it with a harbor freight 5000 inverter genny on propane at 120v 1700w. But I only ran it to recharge my dp3. (Saved a lot of gas) Since I found out I can charge the dp3 with 240v faster I just ordered a 7000 watt champion inverter generator with a 240 outlet and an ecoflow 240 inlet cord for the dp3. Now I can recharge it in 70 minutes at 3400w! Just wanted to say thanks. Your video sold me on my purchase and it helped out family out tremendously over the last 5 days. Last hurricane for Matthew we were without power for 9 days and I ran my construction Genny the entire time. What a waste of gas. Now the hurricane is over I'm going to put it back in my e350 and go for a road trip. The Anderson port runs my 12 v Lights, roof fan 3x 12v cig ports, 12v cooler fridge and streamlight flashlight. I utilized the 30A RV plug for vans entire 120v system. The 120v runs a midea 5000 btu AC and all my outlets with a mini TV and microwave. I can't say enough about the dp3 and your reviews and recommendations. Thanks again Professor Hobo. Keep up the good content! 😁👍

Great review, but one huge difference between the Delta 2 and the Delta 3 for your and my use that you didn't even mention! I was so happy with this change and thought of you immediately when I first saw the product. It's because you always say you run these powerstations like I do, stuck inserted between things. That is also exactly what I need! But, while you can do that because the plugs are on the back and front of the Delta 2, everytime you mentioned that as a plus on your Delta 2 reviews, I've always shouted out (maybe you heard me?) that you still can't put the Delta 2 right between two large items, because the fans input/output are on its sides! That means you still have to have some space on both the right end left side of the Delta 2. BUT! TADAAA.. Delta 3 has the fan also on the front and back instead and NOW you can finally jam the Delta 3 tightly between two things. The awesome handle design ensures you can't block the input/output fans even if you push it all the way back against something. I absolutely love this! The second most important aspect is having the USB ports and AC outlets on the same side and all the input in the back. Now when when you and I use it, it is perfect with the least amount of wires sticking out from the front and NO fans or ports on the sides, while still having access to all the charging ports in the front. (Asides the cigarette lighter port, which in the car you already have them around the car, and in your home typically only need USB power for those type of items)

The new dual fuel 3000 generator is not DC. There are no DC outputs, just 2 AC outputs. This means you can use the new 3000 AND the extra battery on the Delta 3 plus at the same time and the control of the 3000 is via wifi with no direct communication (via the CD battery cable). It also has a 100CC engine as opposed to the 80CC in the older DC one. But, if you got the 4000 and not the 3000, it is does have DC output. Great review!

I've been considering this for the UPS function to get longer run times than a LA UPS. Not to mention not having to replace LA batteries every 3-5 years. However, that AC parasitic draw is high at 41W... That would end up costing me over $50 per year in wasted electricity. A traditional 1500W UPS has an AC parasitic draw less than 10W. I guess I'll have to build my own LiFEPO4 system to get a more efficient inverter. I see a number of them that are 10W or less.

Off subject. I bought the 3+ after your review and the extra battery. I love it. I have a request. Can you review the Anker Solix C300dc? Its DC only and Im intrigued since it would be great for camping and using my portable fridge due to its smaller footprint and weight. (6 lbs) Ill be your best friend. :)

Do a review on that small power station

The video I watched of D3+ with matching extra battery. One of the cons is having one port w/c means extra batt and alternator/PowerStream cannot be joined at the same time. Maybe Delta 3 Max in the future?

I wonder if the Delta 2 Max will be updated or will it stay the 2nd gen model to differentiate the 3rd gens

Hi. Would this be good for running a dual fridge on and off for a few days?

What if you just brought 2 of these as a backup battery since it's better than the Delta 2

There doesn't seem to be any 1kwh delta 3 plus for sale in Europe. It says the delta 3 plus has 1.5kwh in Europe. But then again it's like twice the price so that's not a particular good deal.

I like the idea of the river three with solar for small uses (eg1 running the wireless security cameras on my powerless out building; eg2 power backup for my garage door opener). I'd be curious as to how fast it drains with just the inverters.

It can't power a garage door opener.

it's compatible with the smart gen dual fuel (first generation)?

Can you please show an example on how to get 1000watts in solar using the two ports and staying within the 60v limits is it possible with 8 125watt bi facial eco flo panels

Can you run a wattcycle 12v 300ma battery with it? Or charge it with it?

Great review. However, I still don’t know if you can charge the unit up through the USB type C power delivery. I have the ego nexus 400 watt inverter and it can charge from a 100 W USB type C power adapter. I also have the dewalt USB type C power adapter that fits on the 20 and 60 V batteries and it is also by directional. What happens if you have two 500 W solar panels in parallel on one input will the charge controller internally current limit the amps so that the maximum charge is still limited to 500 W or will it burn out the charge controller? That matters a lot to me. I have an off grid solar system and I have 11 325 W solar panels in parallel against a 40 amp charge controller and it just current limits to 40 A. It works great on cloudy days. I also have way more solar panels on other charge controllers too. It looks like I’m going to have to buy the Delta 3+ and find out for myself .

Looks great. I don't find a Delta 3 plus extra battery anywhere though. Just the larger Delta Pro 3, which looks the same, but seems larger? (confusing naming schema to be sure) What are you showing there?

Thanks for this awesome review. In the app, are the 120V outlets separated or grouped with regards to the on/off switch?

I guess i missed it, what is the use case for this? Just camping? Small electric appliances? camper vans?

It's for running appliances up to 1800w in a portable setting or basic backup use.
