Professor just a little info, I purchased a Beadens Power station after your review a couple years ago . I just purchased a Set power Compressor refrigerator I think it is the 37 quart , It was delivered on Sept , 3 2021. Just as a test I powered it up to make sure it was in good working order and used the Beaudens 166 wh power unit that was in your review , It ran the set power refrigerator for 9 hours before I stopped the test Both worked great . the Beaudens Had about 40 percent charge left . Great power unit . And I love the Set Power Refrigerator uses very little power. thank you and Keep the reviews coming .

I love the options from all these companies and Bluetti is def at the top of my list. These charge times are amazing, I have suffered using a tiny Energizer LiFePo power station for a year and the worst part has been the 6+ hours to charge the stupid thing... 6-7 hours to charge 240wh vs 2-4 hours to charge 2000+wh from these beasts LOL

Excellent review Prof. Hobo you addressed all of the questions that I had with the AC200Max vs. the EcoFlow. Based upon on my initial research I had landed on Bluetti being the winner (in my eyes) due to price, ease of use, and weight. I feel confident in knowing that I made the right choice for such a pricy purchase (much to my husband’s chagrin) that will keep our household going in the event of a power outage.

Thank you for, yet again, another informative review. The additional batteries are a big selling point for me. WOW the fact that they operate independently if needed is super handy. Battery longevity is also important to me. So far I have 3 Jackerys (2-240s, 1-500, & 1-100w panel) to run my cabin, but need more for reliable refrigeration. Maybe the next purchase will be a Bluetti. Thanks again.

Very smart for bluetti to have rubber covers for each plug in feature. I've noticed this is something lacking in the wee ecoflo Delta 1300. If the unit never leaves a home or office air conditioned enviroment, this is fine. So, or protection from dust, splashes, bugs etc the Bluetti has it covered.

I got my AC200MAX today, but I didn't have enough MC4 CABLE to reach the spot where I needed to place the solar panels. I like that you can use two B300s with the AC200MAX. Both are on the way. 8192Ah total. I even used your coupon. If nothing else, I can use the AC200MAX as my remote power in the boonies and the AC300 and EIGHT B300 batteries as the home system. Great video! It really helped with the decision to take the plunge. So much for overpriced Jackery.

I would love to see you do a video titled "How To HAND CRANK CHARGE Solar Generators From a HAND CRANK GENERATOR." I live in an area where we are at below freezing for a good part of the year, sometimes half the year. My solar generators have "cold weather protection" so, obviously, I can't charge them below 32 degrees F. I would love to be able to charge my solar generators with one of the many hand-cranked generators I have being seeing so much of lately but, unfortunately, I don't know enough about electricity to attempt to hooking one of these up myself.

Watched reviews this morning from my two favorite channels for this type of product. Will Prowse and HOBOTECH. Best I could tell they came down on opposite sides of the fence as far as their reviews. Dang it! Now what do I do?

It seemed to me that Will's main complaint was software. With blue Eddie's track record there should be a fix for it within the next couple of months at the most

Excellent video - Thank you! Bought one recently. Trying to power my RV with 30 Amp RV plug….but no luck. Both RV and Bluetti AC200MAX working fine. Likely a open ground fault issue with my class B RV system…Any easy way to fix? Is this a common issue?

I love your showmanship and appreciate your hard work.Thank you !!!! I know on the Ac300 it is clear you need the external battery because they could not put everything inside. But I thought this model you can just use the Ac200 Max and do not have to have an external battery...Am I wrong again for the 1000th time. I hope not. I hope the future is not having to lug multiple big items when you have a small van and not an RV. thanks

Great review, as always. Can anyone tell me how long it will take to recharge my original AC200 from one B230 since it doesn’t function the same way as with the AC200Max? Thanks.

Hi, I'm new to your channel and am loving it already. I have a couple of questions about the AC200max paired with two PV300 solar panels. I'd like to be able to purchase extension cables so that I have a longer distance between the battery unit and panels. What kind would I need and are there any drawbacks, such as loss of watts, in having extension cables? Secondly, how waterproof are the PV panels? I live in the UK. Thanks in advance.

@hobotech Love your videos. Humorous, informative, honest, real. I have one request. As you've noted, the vast majority want plug & play. If you would be so kind as to label - on your website - those products that can run a residential fridge, central HVAC (oops, it's outside and i don't think there's a way to plug it in so... mobile heat/AC unit instead), a residential stove (gas w/electric starter in my case) (I also have an electric portable 2 burner range if needed), a CPAP with heater and a few house lights, stereo, cup warmer, laptop with 4 bay USB port external drive, and also a desktop computer. Ideally simultaneously. Thanks!

New viewer here playing catch up. Great reviews very thorough. Is there away to take a feed off the alternator/main battery and push through via the solar input to the bluetti? Giving a much faster charging time when on the move? I leave camp not long after sunrise, and arrive at the next not long before sunset. No shore AC available. Little room on my roof for more solar.

That's a nice setup. A little bit pricey for the Ah rating and 80% efficiency at the C rating. It's not a problem if you have an abundance of solar to cover the efficiency. If you are skiddish about DIYing your own setup, though, it's pretty brilliant as a plug and play solution. The 1400W of solar at 150V is nice from an MPPT perspective.

Hey there hobo great videos as always I know this is a older video but in your professional opinion what would you recommend a AC 200 Max Plus a b 230 battery or the newer AC 300 with the One battery obviously I'll have more amp hours or watt hours with the AC200 max plus a additional battery the biggest item I will run is a 600 Watt portable AC thank you for any information you can provide

Your video was really informative but the one thing I was really hoping to see was how an ev charger station could be used to charge the unit. Is that something that plugs into the dc enchanter and then into car? Anyone know yet how this will work?

Great video. I'm thinking about using this as both a portable generator for camping, etc and a backup at home. I currently have a transfer switch that I connect a gas generator to. I have a 30 amp adapter that will plug into the 4 prong transfer switch on the house. Any issues you can think of attempting this?
