Cleary will be first choice when he recovers because he is also the NSW captain. You are right - they MUST find a place for Magic Moses in the side. He is just too good to leave out both as a kicker and playmaker.

Qlder here, copping it on the chin. Congrats nsw. You guys played true origin football. Tough, brutal, and uncompromising. It was a series win as good as any qld have won. Game 2, 1st half reminded me of pre origin days when we would get slated all the time. qld and nsw are now both great teams who understand origin for their own respective reasons. Let's play. Side note. imo ponga would've been more effective coming on 5-10 min before half time and replaced walsh who was injured. Unless it was a attitude problem.David Fifita should've been picked. We were low on stocks in the forwards and we were dominated again in that area, We have picked many a player out of form in club land and even trevor gillmiester came out of a hospital bed to play and shine for qld. Something was a bit off there???? Anywho. again well done NSW. It probably wouldn't of mattered one bit based on how you guys played. Good work Eamonn on watching and learning about different codes of sport.

If you're not aware, there are 2 centres on each team, Bradman Best the New South Wales (NSW) Centre and normally plays centre for the Newcastle Knights to score he had to get around Dane Gagi and Kalyn Ponga who Dane is the other Newcastle Knights centre and Kalyn in the Newcastle Knights fullback. That's why it's mate against mate and state against state.

You can't drop a winning halves pair for someone who consistently struggles in Origin, especially after a series like that. Cleary will have to come out firing to take their spot.

@@Lynchy626 that’s also true but you can’t forget the brilliance that Cleary made in last years GF to take into account. He took the last 20 min and made the biggest upset that no player could with luai and yeo out of the game in the 2nd half
@Lynchy6263 ай бұрын
@@inozuke281 And that’s true. I’m not discounting Cleary. But name one time he’s performed at Origin in a clutch moment. If it’s not broke, don’t try to fix it. After this series, Cleary has to earn that jersey back
@inozuke2813 ай бұрын
@@Lynchy626 well yes it’s true the method of don’t fix what’s not broken is taken into account with Moses, but it’ll come into with Madge next year because depending if Moses and Cleary aren’t injured, do you think Madge will overlook Moses for Cleary? And the obvious is yes to some people but with Moses performance in game 2 and game 3, I agree there is no fixing the problem 👍

moses and luai played very well, clearys just gotta wait, remember he's only like 24 25 so he will get chances in the future. Queensland acted arrogant the whole series, did not change up or pick guys who couldve made a difference and stuck with players who should have been dropped but they played very poorly.im sure queensland are going to have more players available next year. Walsh too rocks and diamonds at the moment, it should be ponga there next time

If the tackler falls off it’s play on. That’s why Lomax stood above Reece and waited for him to slightly get up, then Lomax takes him out of touch. Hammer was escorting Lomax ever, single, kick. Pathetic reffing by Klein all night. Gave Queensland more time to hold us down in every tackle and they still couldn’t beat us.
